John Smith URZZZZ Are you talking about the same Shrewsbury with one defeat in eight? Against Wycombe away who subsequently went top after that game? That Shrewsbury, right?
For the record, there aren't many people that care about the EFL trophy and you can tell if you actually looked at the attendances
You've completely contradicted yourself there because in those eight games you mention, that takes into account a game in the EFL Trophy.
Maybe you can stop posting on this forum and move to the Shrewsbury one, do everyone a favour.
That’s not the point though is it? If you lose 1 game in 8 (whatever the competition) generally you’re considered to be on decent form and so a defeat away at them for Sunderland isn’t that’s surprising
The EFL trophy games aren’t that important though. You still want to see your side win in them but how many times do you see supporters say “losing in the cup isn’t that bad a thing so we can concentrate on the league”. So yeah, whilst Parkinson isn’t doing a great job so far, you have to factor in he’s only taken charge of 4 league games where managers are mostly judged on and in those he’s accumulated 6 points which isn’t a disaster
