Anyone know if Wilshere is rejoining Bournemouth?

Blackburn v Swansea off tonight due to waterlogged pitch. Not what this league needs on top of Covid postponements. I think the teams who have fewer interruptions will have an advantage; nobody wants to go into March and April needing to catch up 3 or 4 games.

Chameleon We really need to get 6 points out of the next couple of games. I guess this loss sort of confirms that there are only really 8/9 teams seriously in the running for playoffs, which is nice. If we're still in the playoffs come the Wycombe game then automatics may be possible.

Realistically only Boro, Stoke and maybe Bristol City are a threat to the top six. The problem is we are hopeless in the play offs.

May need to cast the net wider. Lots of potential for other teams to “join the pack”, there usually is one team from mid table who surge up

Blackburn not had the season they’d hoped for after a strong start but wouldn’t rule them out

Not sure Stoke have enough firepower to hit the top 6, lost a lot of attacking impetus without Campbell and Fletcher, huge losses for them

Stoke are reportedly lining up a bid for Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove so may well have more firepower by the time Reading arrive.

This is obvs good for us as gives us a very good chance to close the gap on Swansea.

Haven't they also just got the ex- Leeds wonder kid that was, Jack Clarke, on loan from his current club Spurs?.

Conor Hourihane signed for Swansea from Villa til the end of the season. Handy player that

Can't say I've heard of him

But it's obvious Stoke are desperately lacking up top. Since Campbell got injured (8th December), they've scored 3 goals in 7 games, with two of them being corners
They're a side that rely on narrow wins, scrappy games, keeping clean sheets. All the more frustrating we gifted them all three goals

Rotherham/Stoke, nailed on 0-0, is currently 3-3.

Barnsley aren't gonna score if they don't get a shot on target. Not without Watford's help anyway.

Top 9 minus Stoke looking like they're starting to pull away a lot.

Bournemouth's form is dire. 5 points from 6 games (with a 1-0 win vs a 10 men Wycombe beforehand), only 3 goals scored. Revenge month looking like it could deliver a decent haul. Not convinced by Watford either.

Would have been nice to see Watford drop points but a decent night all in.

Now if Boro and Bristol can just drop some points tomorrow too then the gap to the chasing pack looks very nice.

Difficult to see beyond the current top six between now and the end of the season. Bristol City are a mid table team imo. Boro looking like the only real threat.

Had Watford in a winning 5-fold so I wasn't too disappointed to see them win

And they get more than their fair share of luck, both goals were fouls and they should have kicked the ball out for the second
