Stranded Huddersfield lead after some of the worst defending you'll even see.

Cardiff into the bottom 3 as it stands.

It's still a bit early but Cardiff look gone. They haven't won since early November FFS.

I wouldn't write anyone off at this stage. Having said that, I'm expecting it to be 3 from the current bottom 5. I think everyone else has just about enough to get away.

Slightly surprised to see QPR, Cov and Swansea so low. All teams who have impressed at times this season

Good result for us last night. Now if we can do our bit and get 7 points from Rotherham, Cardiff and Blackpool can concentrate on next year

I guess Swansea would be in a better shape if they stopped throwing away points in stoppage time :)

Yep enjoyed that even if it might not have been the best result for us. Can’t stand Russell Martin either so all good

Not massively surprised because none of Swansea, QPR or Coventry have been that good since the WC break (Swansea didn't win for a couple of games before either). Although agree, with some of the quality they've displayed at certain stages this season, you'd expect them to be a little bit better than the recent form table.

I've been surprised by Hull and Luton if anyone. I did expect Hull to improve when Rosenior came in, but they are looking up towards the play offs now. Rosenior has sorted out their defence a bit, built on their good away form and improved their home form. Luton just keep on rolling as well, I wasn't expecting to see them (comfortably) in the play offs at this stage.

Weirdly I thought Luton were the worst side I’ve seen against us this season in that 0-0. They were woeful and we should have won fairly comfortably with the amount of possession we had near their goal

I've long thought Luton are one of the most limited sides in the division, playing above their level through belief and organisation.

I've seen all our games since they were last promoted iirc, and they're yet to look very good imo.

But fair play to them for making it work.

Friday 17th February Cardiff v Reading FFS.

If ever there was an away game to get on the front foot and look to get an early lead, it'll be that one. Naturally, we likely won't and will find ourselves a goal down after 12 mins.

Thought he’d done just about ok. Point per game, thought they’d drag themselves out of trouble eventually. Not sure what they are expecting really; they are a rubbish team

By all accounts they are playing worse football under him than before and he's massively disliked by the fan base. You can live with the latter if the results are there and if they had won last night, he'd still be there but failing to beat a close rival after being 1-0 and 2-1 up with them also going down to 10 men is not a good look.

Was a highly thought of coach over here, so imagine he'll pick up a coaching job in the Bundesliga or 2. Bundesliga pretty quickly.

Huddersfield looking for a 3rd manager this season, not really a recipe for survival.

Survival is imperative for them financially and they need a pretty decent run to get out of it. Early in the season they looked nailed on for relegation and now they've given themselves a fighting chance as the competition around them, typically, isn't too great.

Agree it's not great to have a 3rd manager in the same season, but if they stay up because of it then they won't care.

Interestingly, that's the 19th managerial change this season (including those who were appointed in the summer) with now 3 of the bottom 5 changing managers twice this season (Wigan, Huddersfield and Cardiff) and Blackpool and Rotherham have also changed this season.

The only clubs to have kept the same manager from last season are Reading, Millwall, Swansea, Coventry, Sheffield United, Bristol City and Preston.

Some pretty big games this weekend, especially at the bottom. Blackpool vs Rotherham and Wigan vs Huddersfield whereas Cardiff have a tough fixture against high-flying Middlesbrough.

We play Rotherham at home on Tuesday, so some pretty decisive fixtures for clubs in the next few weeks.

How many of those were there before the start of last season? Rowatt, Robins, Pearson?

Is a bit nuts really

I think Russell Martin came in the summer of last season.

Very funny thread on Sunderland's fans website having a pop at each other about leaving early on Wednesday. Let's hope the theme continues after Saturday's game
