Mr Angry Us getting 6 more wins this season feels a long, long way away right now............

It does to me too. The second half collapses are the biggest concern. Conceding so many late goals is typical for a team going down. We just have to hope that with injuries clearing up we will have three strong players off the bench.

Irrespective of that we must stop conceding so many poor goals.

As you say, the games bolded out are massive. So when you look at this it makes you realise that six more wins is not a walk in the park.
We need another freak result (Fulham away) really. Anything at all this Saturday is a bonus.

I think if we don’t get a win in the next 4 we're gone without a management change and may struggle to get more than 1 or 2 wins if any.

We'll have got most players back and had a nice little break in that.

If we can't buck up under those circumstances, think we just won't buck up.

That's it really, we will always concede goals because of the way we play, that's been apparent since Paunovic has arrived, but we need to stop conceding so many poor goals or stop making so many individual errors leading to goals.

In fairness to Pauno, he labelled a lot of our defending as "naïve" at the weekend, so he must be aware of it.

That’s a pretty easy run in on paper

Questions would have to be asked if we didn’t get 6 or so wins from that lot

Snowflake Royal Never his fault is it.

Credit where credit's due, after conceding 51 goals in 27 games he's now aware that our defence isn't very good. Don't think anyone else would have spotted that.

It appears, perhaps fittingly, that 'Rival Watch' has mutated into another thread on the manager. One of our biggest rivals/threats might prove to be the negativity of a section of our fan base.

Nope it's definitely
Manager
Opposition
Owner
Players
Fans

In that order.

It does but with key players back, we could well be a different team over the coming months.

If we can click for 5 or 6 games, we could rattle up some points quickly and semi coast the season out.

Not sure what you expect after the worst Cup defeat in our history followed up by our worst home defeat in our history and add in no home wins in nearly four months by the time we play Coventry and no wins in two months home or away. Then include the number of dreadful errors made to gift the opposition goals and dwindling crowds and you have a pretty toxic mix.

I don’t think any fan base anywhere in the world would be anything other than negative if their team had performed as above.

1000000%

I think the biggest cause for negativity is the insistence of continuing the same failed approach, week in week out.

Last game was the first time he’s really changed it up from the off (though after that tactics remained largely unchanged). It failed but at least we tried something new.

I'd love to see West Brom, Bournemouth and Sheffield United all fail to get promoted.

oxf*rd parachute payments.

Fulham are starting to run away with it a bit sadly.

I can see the crossovers, our rivals are our shortcomings….but we do have the Pauno Out thread(s) and even a Relegation thread available.

We are fully aware of the shitshow at the club and its governance….but do we really need to read the same stuff on every fukkin thread?……getting as bad as the AE Politics intrusiveness I tells ya….lol

Meanwhile back to the proper rivals

Derby must be in deep do do as the local MP has got involved (bye bye then Derby   ) She says there is too much silence coming from the administrators (like they are going to tell how things are every day ).

There was also a piece on BBC breakfast this morning, talking to the weirdest family they could find

Derby will survive. It’s far too high profile now. The EFL will get slaughtered if they were liquidated. We just need to see them lose their best players in the next few days to make it very difficult to avoid relegation.

But with two outstanding, unquantified civil cases, almost certain relegation this season and an FFP budget or more points deductions next season.

Not sure that counts as a good investment.

A decent laundrette maybe

Not to mention that they don't actually have that many assets either as a lot of their players they will need to sell on/run down their contracts, not gaining much in terms of capital as well as they don't own their stadium either.

You're just buying the name of the club really.
