Just the 17 minutes of injury time at Vicarage Road. Watford nailed on to score in the 117th minute.

Wouldn't that be 27 minutes of injury time? Even that's a bit much for Watford

Swansea have sorted themselves out. Fully expect them to make the POs at least.

Swansea score in the 8th minute and hold on for the remaining 14 minutes of injury time.

Ascotexgunner Could be Bruce's last game tonight. Get the feeling there won't be many goals as it's Preston.

Preston battering them in the first 10 mins and deservedly in front.

Must be it for Bruce now

Agreed. Having been so poor at leaking late goals they have now won successive away games scoring winners near the end. They move up to 6th.
Hard to believe that Watford and West Brom have only managed a combined total of five wins so far this season.

Swift must have thought he was finally out of relegation battles and was in a promotion chase.

Liked him a lot here but agree after watching him last night, certainly don’t miss Swift atm

Game seems to completely pass him by when he’s not on form. Offers nothing. Though we knew that already

Already expecting we'll need to score 2 to win that game as Swift banging one in from 20 yards is an absolute given.

Bruce just seems to keep surviving though. Considering his record has been pretty poor/woeful since the minute he walked through the door, you'd have imagined that the hierarchy would have pulled the trigger by now.

Weird thing with wba if I’m reading right on footy stats they have the best xg for and against in the division

Bit baffling how they are bottom 3. Would think it has to click at some time

Wasn't this a similar pattern when Gourlay was here. We all knew we had to get rid of Stam but despite defeat after defeat and poor showing after poor showing, we kept him in post for a couple of months longer that he should have been. Be interesting to see if he learns from that or if he's hoping for an upturn in form so will keep in place until the WC break, when we will see quite a cull of underperforming managers.

Mind you it also has us in 24th place for goals for and that wouldn’t be my impression of watching us play. Not sure why it’s quite so low

Only saw 20 mins or so of the second half last night but they had 2 or 3 gilt edge chances in that time that they just couldn't convert. It clicked in one game v Hull where everything went in but does seem to be a lack of composure in front of goal.

HRK pointing out the Issues are possibly a lot more than Steve Bruce

Not sure if I'd pin that solely on Gourlay, but more the club itself, as Pauno was kept probably 6/7 weeks longer than he should have been (should have gone after the Kidderminster/Fulham defeats for me personally).
