Got to put chances like that away. Felt Arsenal were there for the taking at the end., Just needed that bit of quality.

When is the Arsenal hoodoo going to end? Neither our men or the woman have ever beaten them! I know the men have lost all their games against the Gunners. Is it the same for the women? Must be well over twenty matches between them

Thanks, both. As the women have a better record against them, can we play the ladies instead of the men if we have to play them in the FA Cup later this season?

Was that the Farah Williams goal from the kick off? I did see the high lights on the WSL show, I expected a thrashing but thy hung in there rode there luck and finished the game really well. Need to show that intent against lesser teams.

But acknowledged by both Rachel Yankey and Karen Carney as a good save, I know whose view I will go with.

Is Grace Moloney's long career at the club at risk of being over?

There's only so long that Kellie Chambers can get away with the 'I'm rotating keepers just like I rotate other players.' explanation.

Behaved stupidly after the Republic of Ireland game and then some equally bigoted protestant supporters were quick to trawl her twitter account and repost some stupid comments she made eleven years ago!

Better hope she stays lucky then because sadly I can't see Grace Moloney being back any time soon, if at all. There's some on social media doing their very best to keep the controversy surrounding her running for as long as possible. Probably the very same people who wouldn't think twice about singing songs aimed at other religions/races.

The pointless Royals play their next WSL game at West Ham on Sunday October 24th KO 3pm. the match will be played at the home of Dagenham & Redbridge the Chilwell Construction stadium.
West Ham will be without Hawa Cissoko who was sent off for punching an opponent in the victory at Aston Villa last Sunday. Also missing from the touchline will be manager Paul Konchesky who also saw Red in the same match.

3-0 down already with 30 mins gone.

Haven't helped themselves with some shocking 'defending' but the gulf in class between us and the teams from the big EPL clubs is getting ridiculous. Sadly the women's game looks to be going the same way as the men's with little 'nobody' clubs like Reading being forced out by the incredibly wealthy Johnny Come Latelys joining the WSL.

Even given that, I'm not sure how long the club can continue with their loyalty to the current management and coaching team as this looks set to be the 14th consecutive WSL game without a win. Actually I'm not sure where the commentator on FA Player got that stat from as it doesn't seem correct but we're still on a dreadful run of form and results. Update: Just found all of the results and the stat is true, The last time we won in the WSL was 2-1 away to Everton on 6th February 2022, 14 games ago!

Yeah true and very very sad.

Just look at how quick Man U ladies have progressed in the last couple of seasons.

We are the only non PL backed club in the division and we know where this is all going.

Not an expert on ladies football but from what I gather the players bought in this season should be doing better. They gave Arsenal a really good game last week. Today they are all over the shop. I know someone who’s daughter started at Reading and is now at Spurs, and she said the standard of coaching was different class, and Chambers was a soft touch and training was the same every day.
