Owlish52 Wigan hammering Bolton 4-1; so much for goal difference over Wigan...

Great to see you posting again Owlish. Hope you are well.

Will take that. Take the point, get some players fit again and go again at hone. Sounds a pretty dreadful game

0-0 better than I'd hoped but on reflection maybe should have possibly could have got more.

Still, Wales slaughter the Irish though I'm pissed off the Irish got on the scoreboard in the end.

McCleary should have done a lot better in the end there.

Stoke gave us space to play and we showed our usual 'attacking but ineffective' style.

Still - a reasonable response after Tuesday.

Rotherham lost 2-1
Ipswich drew 1-1
Wigan beat Bolton 5-2
QPR drew 2-2

And next up for Reading are Preston who are unbeaten in 12, winning 8 of them

A very very predictable 0-0, Stoke are probably the worst team I've seen all season bar the first 15 minutes, they have no fight, and seem incapable of passing the ball to each other. Fortunately for them, we're just as bad. However, Baker was absolutely superb today, so glad to see him picking it up after a slow start

Meite looked decent as a long front man. Their defenders couldn't deal with him.
McCleary's chance wasn't easy in the 94th minute. He's not a spring chicken any more and after a difficult game like that he must have been running on empty.

3 weeks without a competitive fixture, breaks the momentum and could leave them a bit rusty, or could leave them well rested.

Jesus wept that was utterly abysmal. I assume none of you actually went to the game?! RTG MUCH!

We may as well throw in the towel now and welcome the might of Scunthorpe, Lincoln and Accrington to the Mad Stad next season.

Gomes OUT!!!!

Good point, solid team and great that Rotherham lost. Preston at home is such a key game, as it was last season. Let's hope history repeats.
