Sweet that you remember it but I said meite wasn’t good enough as a striker. Good job he played on the right wing which got us the second goal, flicking on the original header, and allowing barrow to use his pace

Nice to see you're quiet about Swift

Didn't someone say he'd struggle to look good in a League 2 side?

Was Meite back in Bristol/Millwall form

Thought he was excellent. They really couldn’t cope with him

Rino and Baker also both excellent as mentioned. Love Miazga as well - been our most impt loanee

Swift’s pass for the first goal was obscenely good. Sat directly behind it, was absolutely perfect

Yeah, I know you liked Ilori but the difference between him and Miazga is staggering IMO

To be fair, all the loanees from January have been top notch, real assets and whilst sadly, there's no way we'll sign them all, I think the way they've all performed deserves our gratitude and I hope they've furthered their careers by coming here whether they stay with us or not.

He's a much more no nonsense CB, but who's also comfortable in a side that wants to play.

I'd have liked to see what they were like together. But then Ilori was the one in demand at the time, not Moore, and we needed money in and players out.

Repeated it in the second half when we came so close to getting our third.

Not only that but they all look like they really want to be here and help us stay up. Baker at the end of today's game was really fired up and stirring up the crowd

Top result, Meite and Barrow will get the plaudits but I thought Ejaria and Baker in the middle were quietly very good, especially the former.

First half was up there with the best I’ve seen this season, the second half was about staying solid and we were on the whole, Preston didn’t get in behind us once. Could have done without the predictable heart attack at the end.

Less said about McShane the better.

Snowflake Royal We've actually done the double on someone

We’ve also got more points over games played for the first time this season.

Miazga my MOTM, physical, won everything in the air and on the deck, i.e. a Champ-type CB performance.
Meite did well, tho his shooting was off. Fitness and timing improving from playing more games.
Barrow was good, played some defence, scored a really good goal, and also had a fine assist.
Rino's energy helped free up Swift, Baker and Eja, and all 4 did well.
McShane was unsurprisingly rusty and well off the pace.
10 points from 15 in March, despite numerous injuries to key players.
Great result and performance vs team who were flying.

All the loanees have been really good.

Miazga particularly. Solid, unflustered and actually quite good. We should go all out to buy him.

And as I said somewhere else they all look they care. Amazing especially compared to some previous loanees attitudes

Baker fist pumping C1871 in stoppage time was great.

Hardly great is it? It is a standard thing that happens in any football ground around the country.
