13 away is made somewhat less exciting by the fact that we're scheduled to play the same game that day already

Except we're at home in the league if we both lose the replay.

Both win the replays and get drawn at home to City in the cup.

Yeah, would like a day visit there

The last four/five times I’ve been down there for Pompey/Southampton/Bournemouth, it’s always been a night game which is a bit of a shame

Good news with that draw is that he will now field a strong team against Blackpool!

8th May 1982 was the last game. 2-2 at Elm Park.

Wonder if the draw will indeed encourage MB to field a stronger side in the replay.

When the playere ooze as much class as they do then don't they have the right to have hair like that?

Saw that. Carlisle went up that season and a certain Peter Beardsley played for them that day.

Really sad about Beardsley, just spends the days cooking poached eggs for his wife and having a chicken wrap from the local supermarket...

According to the BBC, if we manage to beat Blackpool in the replay, our game against Cardiff/Carlisle will be 15:00 on the Sunday. That seems a little strange

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/fa ... s-fixtures

Also surprised if United beat Wolves, they're listed as a Saturday 3pm game. Presume that's the wrong way around?
