Concerned how many chances they made with 10 men. If Swift and Miazga fit, back to 352 for QPR

Melton Royal Still a few minutes left for Derby to get a full house of cards - just 3 more needed

Can't wait to see the East Midlands news tonight

Ditto here.....how are they going to cope with their mighty teams losing? They used to win titles you know....

Well. That's a relief. Missed the first 10 minutes. First half was crap. Second half better. 1 player who I am not allowed to mention or talk about was redacted

I feel oddly subdued after a 3-0 win.

Derby were unlucky, I thought we were really poor until Pele came on

Rafael 7 Some good saves in poor conditions

Gunter 5 Pointless. Needed to take up better positions on the offense
Moore and Morrison 7 - solid
Blackett 5 - too casual

Rino 4 - what’s happened to him
Adam 6 - part of a poor midfield in the first half, his quality on the ball obviously showed but I have doubts with him as part of a two
Meite 8 - play a player in their best position and they’ll play better. Don’t even think of putting him back up front
Ejaria 6 - want to see more. Good dribbling again but spends too long on the ball

Baldock 7 - best player in the first half, tailed off
Joao 7 - came into it as the game went on but is too lazy for my liking

Swift 7 - you can see what we’ve missed
Pele 7 - needs to start in a two man midfield
Boye 6 - one of the most confusing players I’ve ever seen. Did some really good things, did some awful things. Should have shot when played in

Wouldn’t say Derby were unlucky as such, but we weren’t brilliant. Got better as the game went on

Haven’t seen the pen decisions back yet but I thought Adam touched that Derby chap on their pen shout. Our first looked a nailed on pen in real time

Looked a lot better with Swift and Pele. Rino was rubbish, and Adam - whilst playing pretty well - just isn’t a sustainable option at this level for more than cameos

Meite had a decent game. Baldock good, Joao on and off (but another goal- should have scored a couple more). Back 4 looked shaky and the FBs offered nothing going forward. Gunter esp.

A good result though and nice to be looking up the table. Such a shame we screwed up so badly against Brum or we’d be looking at the top half

Just seen the first pen - pretty clear. Fantastic play from Joao to set that up

Only our supporters could moan about a 3-0 win. How we play is completely irrelevant, it's a results business and Bowen on the whole is delivering.

I thought it was an entertainment business. A wins a win, and didn’t go but from the reports on here we certainly didn’t sound great.

Wouldn’t say we were bad. Did the job, but a bit unconvincing at times

But Swift and Pele made a big difference, and we’re missing 2 big players in Yiadom and Miazga who would improve us. Puscas also, but less obviously so today

Sounds like Rino has been unwell which figures. Pele should have started

To be honest think he was about the same standard as many we’ve seen. Bit inconsistent really and for once Reading got the benefit of those inconsistencies. Derby only have themselves to blame for poor indiscipline and they will get fined for that with all but 3 or 4 (was it) of those that got on the pitch for them booked.

Agreed.

Should have sent Davies off for his continued verbal dissent and also booked Sibley for kicking the ball away.

Thought their indiscipline was actually best-in class. Thought the corner handbags-at-dawn incident would result in another injury to Swift. Can we not risk that please?

WestYorksRoyal Can someone update my understanding of the rules? I thought last man foul was no longer an automatic red unless the referee deems it a cynical foul? Surely no defender would intentionally deny a chance if it's Meite?

I said this at the time and nobody around me could explain.

Also nobody could explain the lack of red card for identical pen later!

URZZZZ What a waste of a shirt Gunter has been, offering absolutely nothing. On the other side Blackett is getting into good positions but can’t cross the ball. Really need more from them two

Midfield also getting run over. Baldock been the best player by a mile

Nonsense, Gunter was very good today

First one - player made no attempt to play the ball - just shoved him in the back

Second one - player attempted to play the ball so no red

Think that’s the interpretation anyway. Debatable on the first I suppose whether he could do much else and second whether that was a genuine attempt to play the ball
