Down to 27% now, per the BBC. As we saw with Stamball, it's not always how long you have possession, but what you do with it that counts.

In Bowen we trust. I hope the lunatics who were throwing their toys out the pram when Gomes was sacked can now at last see how shit a job he was doing.

Just sayin', we've been promoted to the PL in every decade of the 2000s so far, could be a good start to the new one. :?

tidus_mi2 Pele: Call me Pele
RFC: Okay we'll call you Pele
BBCRB: Judilson Gomes because he's not as good as the famous Pele

Still winds me up a little that they refuse to call him Pele.

Apparently BBC Berks are not allowed to call him Pele during a commentary as that is not the name he's registered under with the FL.

Obvs not wanting to get carried away but if we can pick up say 9 points in Jan, then we’ve a relatively friendly run in

It’s not out of the question to at least challenge for that 6th place

No question. Bowen is bringing back the "feel good" factor.

He is doing a very good job. The players seem to be happier. And if we COULD get into the top half then it would
make such a change to be looking upwards rather than downwards.

Fair play to the 550+ that went today. Bring on Fulham. Great result today.

Is that a real thing? Nicknames cannot be spoken out loud unless on a register?

That was nice to watch. I actually enjoyed our defensive resilience as well. Great win for the club.

Sounds rubbish to me, I recall them calling him Pele at the start until it started going badly then Tim just decided he didn't want to call him Pele any more and I know he definitely said that he didn't think he deserved to be called Pele.

1 goal conceded since Birmingham and it was an individual error

Adam, Gunter and Blackett playing well, good to see, not many would have them in their preferred XI

Bet Preston hate us

The game in hand is crucial, win that and we're 5 points off 3-6, which keeps us in the mix until very late on. The key now is for other teams to start dropping out the chase, like QPR are looking like they're about to do.

As far as I know that is a real thing. Tim stated back in August they had to call him Gomes during commentary under regulations. He may well get referred to as Pele by Mick from time to time but during commentary it will be Gomes or Judilson Gomes. Outside of the commentary they do use Pele a fair amount.

What. A. Result. Four successive clean sheets. When did we last manage that?
24 points from 13 games is very close to automatic promotion form.
Another tough game on NYD but with 32 points now on the board we are moving we’ll clear of trouble.

Going forward we may start wanting the likes of Sheffield Wed and Preston to lose rather than Barnsley, Wigan etc

Does that extend to first names, like Arrizabalaga on the shirt but commentators calling him Kepa?

It would be 4 points off 6th
