So on paper even weaker than the last game

So much for a cup run. That central defence is not likely to last long, if they do it will be immense.

Is that Reading FC's youngest ever back 4 in a first team fixture at ages 20, 21, 21 and 21? And Olise is only 18 and Loader 19 - plus Rimonhota who is an old man tonight at age 22. That is 7 players out of 11 under the age of 22.

Hope they win. Will be interesting.

Dorsett is a central defender and is only 17 and i have seen him play for the U 23’s and he looked as if he could be a good prospect coming through.

So is Miazga Ill, injured or about to have his loan cut short? Can’t imagine he’d just not be selected.

Presume it’s a good old fashioned 4-4-2 but it really is a weak and inexperienced team that’s been put out. Better get something at Millwall after this.

Or there's an issue with Moore or Morrison and he's likely to be playing in the League maybe?

Yeah, I’d probably go with this.

A big meh to that back four

Massive chance for McCleary/Boye/Loader/Aluko tonight too, all realistically competing for one/two bench spots for the weekend

I could understand the wholesale changes if we were either in a relegation fight, or in the top six. But we are as mid-table as a team can possibly be. We can't be sure of making a run for the play-offs, and we have a great chance to reach at least the 5th round of the Cup. We should be giving it a decent shot.

Everything I can find is behind a registration wall I'm not willing to risk.

Quite relaxed about this selection, and the attitude to the cup. The first XI is only a couple of injuries shy of being shit.

All the streams I have found are offline. Ill keep looking. BeInSport and some random Swedish channel are showing it so it should be somewhere.
