This is not a great day for our centre backs. Best we can hope for us a draw.
Another game and another reserve team no doubt.

How the actual oxf*rd do you take House back off after minutes when that total shit show Aluko is on the pitch.

Snowflake Royal
Royals and Racers Could be broken ankle for Miazga.

What's better, a break / fracture or a bad sprain?

I know mine's never been the same since I sprained it, but I didn't get immediate ice and proper physio. The wrist I broke is fine though.

Yeah but I guess you don’t use your wrist as much as your ankl... oh.

Agreed but I really feel Bowen should have taken this more seriously. I don’t mind the starting line up but let’s have senior first teasers on the bench.
Doubtless Aluko will still be here for the bloody replay.

Yeah, the bench was very optionless, though if it goes to replay that will be partly thanks to Osho and Burley.

Bone heals faster so a fracture is better than say a ligament tear/rupture

Is it just me or does Burley look a bit like a young John Boyega?

So another game to come which sort of defeats the object. Had we played a stronger team I suspect we would be in round five.
I understand the game time given to peripheral players but is it too much to expect first team players on the bench?

Well done to the make shift academy and rejects team against a full strength physical Cardiff side. Did well in the end.

Aluko needs to go, NOW.

A few random thoughts...

- Was thinking before KO that it couldn't have been the plan for Adam and Yak to have full 90s given Brizzle on Tuesday.
- What actually is the point of Loader. He contributes nothing.
- Mcintyre was great bar the first 5 minutes and the needless 2nd yellow.
- Richards and Howe solid enough.
- I would rather be playing Eni than Sone at this point.

I don’t think either Meite or Adam will start on Tuesday. Both on the bench. I reckon Bowen will pick the team that started v Forest.

Just coming back - an odd game with an odd atmosphere. Home fans really didn’t seem that bothered about the game, very gentle

Cardiff are a hideous team. Diving, cheating, little kicks, backing in - all sorts. Whole game plan to get corners and free kicks which they got loads of - and tbh pretty embarrassing they barely threatened considering we lost our 2 cbs and half their team seemed about 6ft 4

Aluko was pretty bright actually- played well first half. We did seem to shut up shop as soon as Miazga went off and were pleased to get the draw in the end

Do think Bowen should have had Swift and co on the bench tbh

Yep. This is my issue. We could have nicked it with some quality seniors on the bench.

Last thing we needed was another game in a meaningless cup competition.

It’s not a meaningless Cup competition. When it gets to the latter stages teams take it seriously. A place in round five is not to be sneezed at.

Sandy really shouldn`t get a reply to that trolling.
The oldest and best cup cpmpetition should be respected at all costs. we`ve all had great times at these games, long may it continue.

Considering we are playing Friday next week I would hope we will have a strong bench for the replay.

Sorry but it is meaningless. If the FA up the prize money then it might get some value but until then it's a pointless distraction from the important stuff.

Yes I suppose it’s another day’s rest. I guess if we take six points from our next two games then we will be in with a sniff of the play offs. Lose the next two and the play off ambition is done in which case Bowen needs to put more focus on the Cup.

So presumably Burley or Osho on the bench for Tuesday night. Miazga possible ligament damage.
