Yep. Under Gomes we shipped 17 in the first 11 games. In the 31 games under Bowen, just 32. Massive improvement and to see a defence with 2 Academy players on a run of 3 clean sheets is great to see.

Well Bowen nearly threw that away but fair play to the 30 defenders for keeping them at bay...and a serious lack of quality from the opposition.

Wondering if Moore is worth a few games in CM if we are going to lose Pele in the summer

I think he’s only ever played there one other time (Bristol away) and was apparently good then as well

It’s on the basis of if we can’t sell him and Pele doesn’t return. In that scenario he is worth a shout at CDM as McIntyre deserves a run at centre back.

You could argue their defender should have been sent off on the pen, and Aneke could have gone for the elbow on Morrison and/or the scrape on McIntyre imo
