Has Terry from the Isle of Wight rung in yet saying Stam, Clement and Gomes could have turned it all around, yet? And Aluko is world class? :D :D :D :D

Snowflake Royal Fuk me Rinomhota makes a difference

Guess that’s the end of McNulty at Reading, let’s hope Gillingham can make a good offer.

Anyone who calls them is either lonely or mad. Or both.

So how many times a week do you call them etc etc?

Yeah,it wasn't a great showing, but he's not exactly played in his best position there and not all of the mistakes he got called on by Tim were entirely his fault.

With Joao, Puscas, Meite and Baldock there's not really room for him, especially with Olise and Ejaria too.

Change seems more tactical than anything though.

Baldock also looking to get on the end of that.

Nice.

Much better now we've got a solid and direct midfield base. Olise doing more damage further forward. Assist for him, plus two corners leading to good chances - bringing in the final ball now

Fox Talbot
Hendo
Fox Talbot 10 mins gone and it’s already looking like a disgrace.

Club not taking the competition or us seriously, I fear.

Clubs not taking this cup seriously isn’t new information, and 100% doesn’t just apply to us. Most don’t take it seriously until 1/4 final stages.

Tbh, I’m fine with the club treating this like a final pre-season friendly and trying something different.

I want more for me tenner.

We’re at home v a club from two divisions below. We’ve won one home game this calendar year. We need a morale boost. We know Colch will be up for it. We have to integrate an important new player Laurent into our team and develop a coherent playing style.

So what do we do? Play a scratch side as if it were a trial match. Sure that is trying something different. Maybe we’ll scrape a win?

Better if we went out there all gunning blazing with a top side, won 4-0, break the bogey, get some strikers on the scoresheet and improve confidence all round - that would be something different!

Just look at the body language of Joao and Aluko. They’re loving this.

Meh, it’s the league cup first round, doesn’t matter who we play it isn’t going to be a strong side, I think people should already know this before purchasing the iFollow for the game.

You play the first XI and get a couple of injuries right before the start of the season and for me, that would be worse than going out.

I’d rather we play a scratch team, give some valuable minutes to fringe players and maybe lose, maybe win than play a full strength side, win, but key players are then missing from the Derby game.

Edit - as it turns out, it doesn’t really matter as a scratch side is now winning quite comfortably.
