Never has anyone enjoyed pulling balls out of a container or a bag as much as Robbie Savage :D

He really made it his own. I like that kind of enthusiasm for the FA Cup.

I predicted some dross like derby or Sheffield weds in the fa cup. We got even worse.

Not sure there is a more soul destroying place in Britain apart from luton

From Despair To Where?
Old Man Andrews Marine away please.

Absolutely this. 2 miles from my house.

Maybe round 4, then.

I used to live about 400 yards away. Missed Reading Royals playing there in the 1990s (away to Everton) due to zero publicity. Reading's Under-15 schools also played there when they won the national cup in 2005 (after I'd moved). Only other Reading connection I know of is that Mick Doherty played for both clubs.

And that I managed to buy a 1971 Reading v Aldershot programme from the Marine club shop, having been unable to buy it at Elm Park on the day of the game...

Only if he is back from his loan at Yeovil in good time.

The FA have also announced that for the 1st time all 32 3rd matches will be broadcast live- 24 will be across the BBC and BT platforms, with the remaining 8 on the FA player.

The draw for the third round proper of the Emirates FA Cup will take place at 7pm on Monday 6 December.

Taking place before the final second round tie between Boreham Wood and St Albans City, fans will be able to tune in and watch during ITV 4's live coverage of the tie as well as via the Emirates FA Cup social media channels on Twitter and Facebook.

Reading are ball 35

Ties to be played between Friday 7 & Monday 10 January 2022

So, how do you think we will approach the Cup this year? Take it seriously or blood a few youngsters and go out in the 3rd round?

Who do we think/hope we get?

Could be a good chance for some of the returning players to get a run out. Would like a non league side at home.
