Would have taken either Ejaria or Aluko off for Olise early 2nd half.

Why do refs put up with so much shit from players?

The abuse directed at the lino and ref following the penalty decision was terrible, and probably part of a plan to delay the penalty to put pressure on Joao.

That penalty looks worse everytime I see it. That was a straight red.

Any translaters for the bullshit coming out on Alex Neil's mouth?

With a better ref Preston could easily have a couple sent off today. Let’s face it without the Lino he wasn’t even going to give the pen.

Greatwesternline Classic Ejaria. Why not slow down and try and beat two players when through on goal.

Yeah he needs to stop fcuking around with the clever clever stuff. Several times he lost decent possession by showing off.

He’s incredibly frustrating isn’t he. Actually thought he had one of his better games today

Still...the 3 behind Joao when all are fit should be Olise, Swift & Meite

Too reliant on Joao scoring. Aluko not up to it and Ejaria as slow and wasteful as ever.

Think our best front four is Joao, Olise, Swift, Meite.

Agreed. Though frustrating to not have the balance with both Olise and Meite being very left footed.

Anyway believe that’s 2 goals conceded in 5. Back to the solidity. McIntyre has been superb since he came back in. New contract now please

8 McIntyre Swift
7 Laurent rino Richards Holmes Morro Rafael
6 Aluko Ejaria Semedo
5 Joao

Looking forward to Meite and Olise being back in the mid. Aluko just not enough quality

Letter of the law it's a red
But we don't want to see people sent off for that!

It ended up not mattering as the pen wasn't given but it maybe definitely was a probably not certainly a red.

Probably give Aluko a 7 and Ejaria a 5 otherwise agreed. It was a great ball in from Swift for the pen. I didn’t feel confident Joao was going to score the pen. Thought the keeper would save it.
Yes on a positive it’s another clean sheet and five unbeaten in the League but the pen misses this season have been very costly.

Frustrating as we threw 2 points away but bearing in mind this was one of our hardest remaining away games and we never really looked in much danger of losing I think that says how far Reading have come this season.

It is the sort of game we needed to win to seriously have a chance of reaching top 2 but it does make me think top 6 is within our grasp.

Desperatly need a big backup player for João. If he gets injured again we could struggle to be top 6. There has to be a loanee available somewhere.

Sutekh Dreadful frustrating and dreary game capped off by Joao’s failure to even hit the target from 12 yards

Felt the same but in fairness very few of our games this season have been dull so they are excused because we got a point.

Lol @ so many posters getting uptight about a few fouls.
This was hardly a dirty game and Preston are far from being the dirtiest I have seen.
It probably feels worse because Reading must be the cleanest side in this division and one of the cleanest in English football, something that we should be proud of.

A cracking few games coming up and this may look like a point gained come the end of the season and we can cut Joao some slack because he has won so many games for us.

No, though I didn’t sleep til 8am and got through a whole bottle of whiskey so in that sense, working this morning would have been horrific.
