Probably thinks he's Jewish because of the nickname and has a problem for that reason.

Westwood52 I think the mistake would be in not making a clear headed decision now.The worst scenario is Pauno starting next season and then getting dumped after ten games when we are in trouble.Looking at the list of available managers;there really isn’t much there. However Pauno s team performance over the last eleven games has been awful. He has clearly lost the dressing room;with a fair few number of players just going through the motions.I have a horrible suspicion that O Shea might be appointed.

Lost the dressing room.

THE go to phrase to explain any poor run for half wits.

Was speaking to one of the U23s last night and he said all the players love Pauno.

I'm sure they do. It's been a successful season and he seems likeable. Gomes with a clue.

Hard not to like a manager who pisses about trying a scissor kick in training and oxf*rd his wrist in the process. Someone relaxed, at ease and out to enjoy themselves.

The amount of times people say the manager has lost the dressing room, you'd be better off just saying the odd week someone finds it. And tbh you've got to look at the players not the manager given every manager we've had for about 5/6 years has apparently lost the dressing room in 3-6 months if it's true. Just a total unjustified nonsense.

One of the mindless cliches people just repeat because they saw a pundit say it once or on twitter.

2. Who is "Pardew"?

It's pretty embarassing that in a season where we finish 7th/8th, this 'Pauno out' thread has reached 13 pages. What a load of dribbling nonsense.

Totally agree, and worse, players, manager and media will probably
look at the length of the thread and make the totally-wrong conclusion

The overwhelming positivity shown on these pages since I suggested it indicates he is the fan favourite for any potential vacancy left by Pauno in the summer.

Time is a healer and I’d welcome Pardew back, but I think it’s a bit early yo sack PAUNO

disagree, irrespective of what sort of season we've had. 1 win in 11? There wouldn't be a club in the country that wouldn't have a proportion of fans calling for the manager's head.

I seems that the fans who want him to stay are being swayed by his first 8 games, which was quite clearly a honeymoon period and the new manager bounce phenomenon that happens in football

I wouldn`t have though it would have any relevance on the people that make the big decisions.

We would be 10th without those first 8 games. still a big improvement. apart from the bad result at Birmingham we`ve lost 2 other games, away to Watford and Norwich.
