I predict we will play the other 23 teams twice, once at home and once away.

I also predict that some people will say the last six games constitute a tough run in

I would prefer to start with a tough run in,rather than tough start. If we begin the season badly,I am not sure we have the balls to pull ourselves out of it.It s the hope that kills you.Wonder where all the other Clubs Pundits will place us ,when they come out with their predictions.Much depends on how Joao starts.
I have done two lateral flow tests to get into buildings;if I have to do one again to get into see the Boys;count me out.I did one where you take blood, and that was OK;but sticking that taper down the back of my throat, does me every time.

That is assuming no teams in the Championship go pop during the course of the season!

Lulz, the EFL is releasing an interchangeable fixture list for Derby and Wycombe in case Derby are hit with a points deduction for last season and as a result they swap places.

Crazy really, here's a mad idea. Do things quicker, so you don't announce the above 10 hours before the fixtures are out.

That really is madness. Got to make Derby fans a bit worried, in such that, if the EFL fixture guys were confident, they wouldn’t have bothered doing the above.

Away to Stoke on the opening day. Away on boxing day and home for NY games.

At least we got a local-ish one for Boxing Day for the first time in ages.

I look for away days I'd like to do, and Blackpool away is one of them. Shame Millwall is midweek, and Luton is the last game. It's also a pity Peterborough is also on Boxing day with no public transport.

Still Fulham, Brum and Coventry look doable.

That's a pretty decent set of opening games isn't it? You would hope that before we head to Fulham that we could have 12-16 points on the table.

Obviously we have no idea what the team will look like or indeed what the opposition will look like but 4 very winnable home games and a chance to pick up some points on the road too.

November and December look a little bit tricky but other than that, it's a nice spread of fixtures with a decent chance to hit the ground running.
