Madejski has a stand named after him, that's enough, given his activities relating to the club in the last few years.

Coppell - no problem

Friday evening and you have nothing better to do than give strangers abuse online. You're a deeply sad individual.

On Strings STAR were good enough to put forward the suggestion of a statue of these two legends tonight, with the idea that with some crowd funding we can make this happen.

Initial idea is a statue of them both as they were together at Leicester celebrating our first promotion to the Premier League, and the earliest promotion to the top flight on record to date.

Of course if this does get the nod, they may choose different images of Steve and Sir John, but either way I'm sure we'd all be delighted to see them both immortalised outside the stadium. Initial suggestions for placing is outside the Dolan Stand, but again, that may change, if it happens at all.

*** As per my reply below, Sarah put this on the STAR agenda last night (09-06-2022) and has come back to me advising the STAR board have asked for an idea of what this will cost. Once they have more information, we'll work out a way to raise funds and all be done officially and with STAR's consent and the Club's. It should go without saying not to send money to a random poster on any forum... ***

Check the club accounts since 2010, they're available at Companies House

He hasn't had anything to do with the accounts since Zingarevich, so please do elaborate.

I suggest we get a statue of Dai.

It'll probably be more useful a presence than he's ever managed.

Over the last few years I’ve seen too many of our players resembling statues so we don’t need anymore. Mind you, we could stick one in goal or to defend corners.

New statue unveiled at Waterloo station today

Cost? £1 million…

If that’s the going rate for a statue, I think we can rule this one out.

TBF, they got 3 people and a stack of cases for that money. Reckon we discount at least a third for ours.

Unless someone went to the owner (who is known to have more money that sense) and said "The fans hate you because you don't embrace them or the club's history and traditions. One way you could show you do care is to give £1M - which is small change to you - to bankroll a statue which will mean a lot to the fans and will show them you care..."
