Yeah we need the International break. Get a win by whatever means necessary on Saturday and then we've got a couple of weeks to get some players back which we could really use for the run in.

Dann played today - is he injured again?

Ejaria was fit at least for the bench 2 weeks ago, he's just out of favour

Midfield is desperate enough I'd actually consider Ejaria..

Nope, sorry. Its that bad but he wouldn't help anyway. I'm over it in the time it took to type it.

I look forward with great excitement to Rahman being back and utter bollox v Bristol, while NGW sits on the bench and watches someone inferior play in his position.

I will genuinely be quite optimistic to see Hutchinson back in the team/squad. I think we are a better team with him playing and. even though I don't think he's our best player and can be a bit rash, I think he gives the team an edge and he's a leader.

Agreed. Was always a risky signing with his injury record and age but I'm sure we've played better when he's been playing.

Hasn`t Ejaria been 2 or 3 weeks away for 4 months?

Don’t think he was was he? Never made it back to the bench

Guess he may be fit after the break if he has been training

Be amazed if Hutchinson is fit 1st April. Where did that info come from?

He’s clearly a decent intelligent player. Would definitely have him in if possible but he’s barely been fit for about 6 months

Yeah that's the problem with him, you can't even get 3 games out of him before being injured ands that's with him not even playing 90 minutes in all 3 either. It is a shame because I feel we'd be better with him either in the defence or in midfield.

He's a much more reliable DM than Loum, more a midfielder than McIntyre or Mbengue. He's a better defender than Sarr, better positioning than Moore and more mobile than Dann.

He's still only borderline Championship quality and he's falling apart. But a welcome addition to be in, or screen, defence.

Yeah I can see that, I know what you mean by reliable, although he can be a little more rash than Loum and that is saying something, Loum more makes silly fouls/errors whereas Hutch's are rash.

He's actually fairly decent with the ball, could be the glue we need in midfield as he's capable of dropping into CB as well if needs be. I don't doubt Ince might have played 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 more often if we had Hutch available on a regular basis.

Sutekh Latest:

Name - Injury - Game expected back - Date

  1. MOORE, Liam - ruptured fasciitis - Out for season

Isn't he out of contract at the end of season?

If so, that is the last we will see of Moore in a Reading shirt.

Not a great way to leave a club, especially as it will cast a shadow over him getting a new club in pre-season........

"Recovery can take 9-12 weeks. Surgery is typically not required, because the fascia tends to heal well on its own. In fact, a surgical treatment for heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis involves cutting and lengthening the tight fascia. A ruptured plantar fascia can take several months to completely resolve."

I wouldn't be surprised if he ends going the same way as Alfie Mawson, which would be a shame really, he's been plagued with injuries in the last 12 months.

Maybe a decent pre-season at another club will help get him back on the straight and narrow.

Can we not get him to retire and claim the insurance?
