Why? It is Reading Buses that have cancelled them, not the club.

"As many of you will have seen in the news over the last year, there is a nationwide shortage of bus drivers"

Can't quite bring themselves to say it, can they?... :D

So the idea being that you get your normal bus service to the station and then get the F1 to the ground.
So if there is a shortage of bus drivers to do the normal football buses, the number of F1 service buses will presumably not be increased to accommodate all these new travellers.
Expect massive queues before and after the match, and more people leaving before the final whistle to get in the queue?

That the Reading injury curse stretches as far as football bus drivers?

That is more mysterious than imposing economic sanctions on yourself...

Maybe they should implement Operation Stack?...

I understand the issue is that most of our bus drivers are Russians, and have been sanctioned by the Foreign Office for providing financial support to Putin.

What! When did Graham get injured? Must have been bad to need an op.

Not really there are only 6 services affected. That’s max 300 people. They won’t all get the F1 and if they do they won’t all arrive together.

Does anyone know the bus number that stops near the stadium on match days?

F1 ?
There’s a regular service runs along the Basingstoke Rd so just a short walk along Bennett Rd (look on Reading Buses website for details...)

I was thinking of a regular service that stops near the stadium every day, I`m well aware of the Basingstoke road routes.
