I don’t think that was their first 11

And yes, I kniw it wasn’t ours either, but the quote is about their first 11 yesterday

Who was missing for them yesterday that would come in? Perry Ng normally at RB and Ruben Colwill who were injured/suspended and is that it?

Either way, Cardiff's signings are nothing to write home about. 14th for me this season.

In some situations I’d rather play against 11 men than 10. I think at 1-1 after just pegging them back was one of them.

Great game.

However unconvinced with Shane as penalty taker. He always seems to go goalie's right when he was first here and never mixed it up. Don't think his record was that brilliant previously although no one in our team was that great then. Not sure the last time he took one as I imagine he was bit down on the queue at the Saints. Anyway he scored so happy days. Hopefully if get another he will go top corner (cue it immediately goes over bar).

I do remember him missing one when Robbie Savage was in goal :D

I liked the bit when Ince and Yiadom (I think) chased back to stop a break and instead of making the cynical foul tried to win the ball, got it, lost it again immediately and then Fornah ran in and bundled the Cardiff player over.

That's what you were supposed to do lads.

About half of those were Cardiff players diving but progress none the less.

Doubt he’ll take many. Yesterday was Tom Ince being a gent and setting up the dream return for him.....

Guiness Walker could be some player for us. Terrific energy and the fact he got on the end of that chance in the first half was something else. Brilliant going forward, just needs more solid work on his defending.

Lumley was class on Sunday. Summed up by my son actually noticing how commanding he was etc. Loved how he ran over to the linesman giving him absolute stick with regards to the penalty and non red card.

Strange for a former ref to be in favour of dissent from players.

Am surprised Ian didn't pick you up on "Sunday" (Saturday?) and "linesman" (assistant referee?)

Guiness-Walker does seem like similar left -back part four, i.e. Obita, Richards, Rahman and now G-W, all good going forward and with a good touch but a bit suspect defending.

Fortunately Obita and Richards did improve defensively and improved with time and hopefully the same will happen with G-W.
