We had a winger playing right back
A right back playing CB
A div 1 LB playing LB
A midfielder playing his first game at that level who had been frozen out by his old club
A cm playing rm
A cm with 2 games Champ experience
A 35 year old cf
A bench with every outfield player in their teens

And then the keeper decides to have a mare

Got to be realistic here - we’re going to lose games unless we get people in or back from injury

Injuries are the manager/coaching staffs fault.

Unbalanced squad is manager fault

Playing 3 cb’s is not the correct formation to be playing with the players we have available.

I’m sorry but now is not the time to be making excuses. Ince has nearly had half a seasons worth of games and has lost 10 out of 18. The buck stops with him.

Gotta agree, we have half our best starting XI out injured and one further playing out of position to accommodate. I think at the start of the season I said if we got another injury hit season we'd struggle to stay up, if we can keep players fit for the bulk of the season we'd be fine. I think we really saw our lack of depth today.

Scutterbucketz Ah oxf*rd. I agreed to go to the Sunderland and Huddersfield games this morning. Got over excited thinking we might not be absolutely dogshit this year after the Cardiff win.

Thank goodness there’s a airborne virus I can claim to have contracted to get out of at least one of them.

Or monkey pox from your Grindr date

Yep, that’ll do. I’ll not make any more plans.

It was the right formation vs cardiff

Whatever you do with that set of players playing today, you’d struggle whoever the manager is

Difficult to judge on the injuries. Joao wasn’t the management fault.

It’s not about excuses it’s about being realistic with what we have. 10 fit senior outfield players, half of who are debatable whether they are champ level

Have to take the positives.

Ejaria didn't play so we didn't have to read post after post of Snowflake moaning about him.

Gotcha so we are not allowed to be cross or angry or disappointed at losing 4-0 to a relegation rival.

Add Meite, Joao, Sarr, Hutch, Ejaria, another LB, get Loum up to speed - it’s a totally different side

Still one that will be lower mid table at best mind you. And that’s where we are. If we can’t keep players fit we’re down. That’s absolutely crucial

Today is one of the worst if not the worst result since 2002 when we returned to the 2nd tier.

Why do we constantly concede so many awful goals? We are playing at Championship level and so many goals conceded have been Sunday League affairs.

Lumley. Surely he cannot stay in goal. There will be zero confidence in him. Bouzanis has to start on Wednesday.
Then the early goals conceded. Ince has to learn from this in a way that Pauno didn’t with his failure to address goals conceded at the back post. Surely the priority has to be to set us up to be hard to beat and not concede early.

Injuries. We constantly shoot ourselves in the foot. I just knew pre season training had been hard but it defeats the object of it ends up with so many players being injured. There has to be a common sense approach here. We cannot cope with a repeat of last season.

Then Puscas. This has turned into one of the worst signings in our history. I like Puski but the fee and wages have made him a terrible signing. He has to be gone next week.

You can feel however you like

But it’s not terminal, plenty of games to go. And we know we’re in for a massive struggle this season whatever
