Just got home from Tesco and we’re ninth in the league and one point off the playoffs

Brogue When was the last game we won a game by 2 clear goals?

When was the last time we won a game to nil?

When was the last time we won 2-0?

I believe we only won by more than 1 goal once last season. 3-1 v Peterborough 14 September 2021

To nil

3-0 v Sheffield Wednesday, 6 March 2021

NewCorkSeth Sorry Ian, that's def a back 3. Look at where the lads line up.

It varies. We just defended an attack with a flat back 4. Hoilett is playing way further forward. Yiadom is bombing down the right more. We're dominating so much we're able to push up a lot too.

Fornah with the touch of Ejaria’s (the good bit) there. Lovely goal, had a feeling Joao would get one.

Mines subsided now, on account of the uncontrollable spaffing after that third.

He even lost it like Ejaria (then won it back and played a simple ball)

So this team gets done by 4 at Rotherham and then turns up to play the top of the table highly fancied and yet to concede Blackburn and pretty much does to them what Rotherham did to Reading. Have we just dropped into an alternate dimension or is football just weird?

It changes depending on how we want to press I think.

Ince is playing as a second striker at times so its 3-5-2. At other stages it's 4-5-1 but the big difference is having Fornah, Loum and Hendrick filling out the midfield, getting interceptions and for the most part stopping Blackburn playing through us.

What’s more impressive is when was the last time we were head and shoulders deserved winners across the whole game?

Totally the best team in all areas of the pitch, all night. Lovely stuff.
