KC Royal

Hound Baba with an assist today

And an assist of sorts for Portugal's second goal as well, should have been intercepting the pass really.

Only saw the last 25-30 minutes after work but seemed as if he had a decent enough game going forward on the few opportunities he did and he did well with the assist, if he could show more of that with us then I think he'd be rated a lot more.

Aside from the two mixed moments you mention thought he had a quietly impressive game. His crossing was something that did make me think. They didn't always come off but he put them in good areas and tried to get them in early too, so do we just not make the most of them? Not sure when he last got an assist for us.

If he played like that for us there wouldn't be any doubt about his place in the team IMO.

Perhaps the anticipation of going to the World Cup was holding his game back a little esp. with Reading’s injury record. Anyway we shall see when he returns whether or not his game improves.

Loum is the only remaining Reading player at the finals now. He may, though, get some game time with Senegal v England on Sunday as Gueye serves a suspension.

Meanwhile Reading have arranged a game to play Luton in a behind closed doors friendly this PM.

Heard a very loose rumour that if England win tonight, apparently championship clubs have the option to move sat 10th games to 12:30 to allow fans to get to watch the England game at 19:00

I'd just stick around the stadium and watch it at the bar, would probably be decent to watch it with a bunch of other RFC fans

Not a rumour. The EFL said some time ago that the games on that day can be moved providing both clubs agree. I don't think a specified time was stated.
