Note that the FL have granted permission to all member clubs to re-arrange the kick off time or postpone their games on 10 December if they so wish, as if England win their group and progress to the QFs they will be scheduled to play that game at 7pm GMT on 10 December.

Sutekh Just for completist’s sake the World Cup also sees the following 4 players involved who have previously played for Reading….

Nathan Ake (Man C) - the Netherlands
Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) - Argentina
Chris Gunter (Wimbledon) - Wales
Saied Ezatolahi (Vejle) - Iran

Ezatolahi has come on at HT against England.

Wasn’t really able to watch properly - how did he get on? Assume not great considering the score

Weird one he was - looked great for 3 of his 4 games and then was never seen again pretty much.

he was ok - had one shot which flew wide. Didn`t he suffer the Reading injury curse ? - i thought he was decent at the time.

And an assist of sorts for Portugal's second goal as well, should have been intercepting the pass really.

Only saw the last 25-30 minutes after work but seemed as if he had a decent enough game going forward on the few opportunities he did and he did well with the assist, if he could show more of that with us then I think he'd be rated a lot more.

Did I miss a former Reading player, was that Nyland in goal for the Portuguese?

Aside from the two mixed moments you mention thought he had a quietly impressive game. His crossing was something that did make me think. They didn't always come off but he put them in good areas and tried to get them in early too, so do we just not make the most of them? Not sure when he last got an assist for us.

If he played like that for us there wouldn't be any doubt about his place in the team IMO.
