NathStPaul Oakwell is a class ground for an away day, ridiculous opinion.

They also play the theme from the Hitman and Her as their walkout music, doesn't get better than that.

Agreed, love the away pub in a working man’s clubs above the swimming pool

Jackson Corner I maybe the only one here who traveled to Carlisle the last we played them! A midweek game on the old Smith’s coaches. A 12 hour round trip arrived back in Reading around 4am and went to college that day. Needless to say I won’t be going this season.

Well, you’re not alone at all

Royal_jimmy I watched them play at Brunton Park in 2016. Remember not getting back until about midnight as my train to Euston ended up being an hour late

That was not against Reading We last played them in 83 in fact we have only played them 10 times in our history!

1982 was the last fixture, of all the current league teams, that Reading have played in the league, they are the one with the longest gap between fixtures.

The LAST fixture was played on: 8 May 1982, Reading 2-2 Carlisle United. The last visit to Brunton Park was on Tuesday 23 March 1982 and, as usual for a midweek away game, Reading lost 2-1

I watched them play Accrington Stanley. It finished 1-1, was a pretty poor game.

New rules/ guidelines coning in the EFL this season as regards time added on. Multi ball to be used as well.

Saw that in the Sutton friendly, 4 cones (two midway behind each touchline in each half) with a ball boy sat alongside who throws the ball that is on top of (or alongside) the cone to the players as soon as a ball comes out of play. The ball that goes out of play is then collected by the ballboy ready for the next time.

Been far too long since that was last used. Anyone know why they go rid of it in the first place?

We have the 5th biggest ground - behind Derby Bolton Wigan Charlton. What gets me is how small a lot of the grounds are
