DVD looked rubbish last year, so we're signing an out of form player.

He's also playing in a position where we already have two players, so therefore he won't get a game.

Basically, a total waste of money.

southbank1871 Hopefully first signing of the pre-season then... I for one will be happy, has looke pretty good when I've seen him in the past.

Many will of course be angry as we have failed to tempt Zidane out of retirement, and should not be signing Wolves rejects.

Cheers Alad

A typical response from the board's resident fisherman. Go back to playing with your tiddler.

Apparently he loves doing fancy tricks, beating his man 15 times and then blasting a cross in to the crowd.

Those might be the comments from disgruntled Wolves fans though.

I've seen the fancy tricks, but he seemed to be producing quite a lot of end product when I've seen him play. Plus you have to look at the Glen Hoddle factor. You could say the above about Glen Little in past seasons and Convey as well.

We'll have to wait and see, but I'm very excited if this is the sort of calibre of player we're chasing, especially at that price too.

Sounds like alad's ideal guy - that's the type he goes for.

Which is his first name and which is his second? Don't Koreans have their surname first and then their 'christian' name rather than the other way round as it is for most of the rest of the world.

He certainly has Seol on the back of his shirt rather than Ki-Hyeon.

Perhaps we should just use his nickname which is 'Seolvaldho'

I'll throw this in the air open to debate:
1. Has he got Premiership experience? NO
2.Did he set the Championship alight last year NO
3.Did he impress in the World Cup NO
4.Is he better than players we already have MAYBE
5 General views of Wolves fans HAS FAILED TO DELIVER

Just hope he isn't being lined up to replace Convey. Will we do a 'Sidwell' to Convey as regards extending his contract?

I still think the club has got it wrong as regards SIdwell and when I see Sheff Utd reported to be interested in Hasselbaink I just begin to wonder.
Surely there wage structure can't be higher than ours??

Food for thought on a FRiday!!

I thought he had Prem experiance ?
I think he's a great signing, didn't impress last season, but Wolves fans themselves say that was because Hoddle was playing in him in the wrong system. The year before when he played against us at Madejski, he ripped us apart.
But apart from that, £1m for a player who can play four different positions is peanuts these days.

Their readiness to risk financial ruin outstrips ours, that's all.

Spot on. It's his adaptability which makes him an excellent signing.
No one can predict how Little or Convey will fare in the Premiership.
Now we just need the centre back and goal-getting midfielder.

I remember the last home game of the 04-05 season where he caused us plenty of problems for the whole match, looked like a really top player. Don't even remember if he played against us this season, despite seeing Wolves twice, so obviously didn't make the same impression. But I think this would be a decent signing, good competition for the wingers, and someone who can operate in a number of positions.

Boring and negative as usual.......

You could say - has he played in two world cups - YES
Did he Impress until Hoddle starting moving him all over the place YES
Has he got Champions League experience YES
Has he scored a hatrick in a belgian Cup final - YES
And most importantly does Coppell think hes good - YES - apologies if I take ther word of a man who got us 106 points last season rather that the gospel that is Tilehusrt Mike

AS I keep on saying the extra £200 you are aggrieved to be paying for your season ticket doesnt mean that we can automatically raise our wage structure to unreasonable demands. Basically the season ticket increase will afford Madjeski the luxury of a slow puncture when its comes to his losses as opposed to a complete blow out

and as for the Sheffield United comparison - they have a capacity of something like 31,000 - 7,000 more than us - so I would expect them to be able to afford more than us.....
