The club won't organise it for you, But if your girlfriend was to organise it by buying a poster and going to the training ground to it signed it might happen.

Or, she can hang about in my local Sainsbury's and get Nicky Shorey to sign it (By the muffins is a good spot) and maybe even Glen Little (sweet counter).

i sent a birthday card once for my mate to get it signed and put in a stamped address envelope so they could send it back. plus a covering letter to explain. they sent it back and a fair few first teamers had signed it plus some of the youngsters/reserve team players. so may be worth trying that. took about a week.

Ask them if they'll come around and clean your, quite frankly, disgusting carpet.

I'm not sure how accomodating the club may be as there's nothing to stop you selling it on to "Sport Icons" or a similar shop that deals in memorabilia (Spelt that wrong, I'm sure!).

Got to be worth a go though.

My missus wrote to the club last summer and asked if they could get the players to sign a 'Congratulations' card as we were getting married. Within a short space of time the card was returned to her complete with signatures from most of the first team and a letter of cogratulations from Sir Steve, which were read out during the wedding reception, much to my surprise :D Even more of a surprise was that my father-in-law read them out as he's a QPR fan who still thinks we nicked their kit.

So you never know...it's got to be worth a try.

Write to the club and tell them that your seven year old nephew never got to the front of the signing queue on the open night.

We couldn't get anything - they said that they normally restrict it to charities.

But I guess that could be their nice way of saying "no chance"
