Just wondering, is there a way of getting old podcasts before the Reading Post move?

I've had a look and old links don't work anymore, so i'm guessing not? :(

Me and Westy actually had a chat about this, it seems they've dropped off the servers that used to house them. If you PM me which episode(s) in particular you're after I can ask him if he's still got copies he can send over.

The end of season show is now up, clocking in at just over an hour and a half.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who listened or downloaded this season and it would be fantastic to get a bit of feedback be it in this thread, over PM or email to thetilehurstend@gmail.com we don't mind a bit of stick, it's the only way we'll improve.

As for summer shows there will be a few sporadic ones so please stay subscribed to the thread.

Cheers Wimb. Keep up the good work. By the way, as well as liking the Podcast overall, I liked the split format you did towards the end of the season where the main show was recorded earlier in the week with an update show just before the weekend. Previously when the main show was released towards the end of the week I wasn't always able to find time to listen to it before the weekend game. So the split format solved that for me.

Evening all,

We've been releasing podcasts throughout the summer but here's the very latest TTE Podcast Extra with Charles Watts from the Reading Post.

The main show will return soon, it's just been tricky getting myself, Westy and Jonny in the same room at the same time!

If you want to subscribe directly to both shows, using iTunes is the easiest method to get both shows automatically, just follow the link below.

Latest show now up, as we look back on the events since deadline day and also spend around 30 minutes chatting to former Royal Chris Casper.

If you can't stand the rest of the show generally, I'd still argue it's well worth a listen as he's got some good tales from playing in Manchester United's 'Class of 92' what the Burns era was like at Reading and how he had to accept his career was over at just 24. That interview is at the 31 minute mark.

Thanks for that. Very interesting. Don't usually listen I'm afraid but as you say Chris Casper was well worth listening to. I once sat next to his Dad at a game at the Madejski which was quite a surreal experience for me only ever have seen him in "Goal" before. One for the older readers there! Bloody shame about Chris's career, he was a classy player. Spitting image of his old man too.

Chip off the ol block ;) He did speak very well, always nice when ex-pros are prepared to give you their time.

Meanwhile if you've never heard our shorter bite-sized podcast, it's myself and Charles Watts recapping the week and looking ahead to the weekend's game. It's only 20 minutes long and you can find it below
