That Friday Feeling
SLAMMED If we play too our best, Wolves results are meaningless.

We've played them twice, taken 6 points, and we're still behind them. Unless you're happy to concede the title we need them to slip up regardless of our own performances.

So if we won all are game frm now until the end of the season, we would still come 2nd?

If Wolves win all of theirs then yes, we would. Am I missing something here?

SLAMMED Shirley this thread should be in general football as it is not directly assocciated with Reading.

If we play too our best, Wolves results are meaningless.

On anther note, I think they will draw with Cardiff and beat Burnley and Coventry.

Well it's about the team who is currently top and if they slip up Reading can catch them (depending on our results) so I think it is directly assocciated.

If any odds were available, i wouldnt mind a cheeky punt on Reading & Cardiff for the top 2.

Not sure about as an accumulator, but outright for Reading is 11/8 and Cardiff 12/1, with E/W being 1/3 the odds.

I predict Shane Long will score or set up goals in all of the games mentioned in this thread.

Wolves have one win in 8 games they are terrible at the moment no creativity, no defense (this is from wolves fans), luckily for us we have a defense to cling onto but i fear the Welsh

Is that Cardiff that dont play much for the near future, and then have away to Wolves.

SNOWBALL says: I mean on strict form they should be favourites, but it's a derby match against a side that's already beaten Birmingham so Wolves could lose.
Personally I think they won't win, or beat Cardiff or Burnley (even though that one is postponed)

Coventry 2-1 Wolves!

That would be the same Coventry that have just lost their two best players in Misfud and Tabb. Frankly I can Coventry going down and not getting more than ten more points this season.

OOPS! Coventry 2-1 Wolves!

Wolves: Win against Coventry and Burnley, draw against Cardiff.

OOPS! Coventry 2-1 Wolves

Burnley tough? Aren't they currently unable to get even a point in the league ?

AND TODAY THEY DREW AT BIRMINGHAM

That's about on par with current form, 'cos Brum were only one place above Burnley in the current form table before today.

Burnley are a very good side and have a few players I'd love to have here

They've been a little distracted by their cup runs

I was just p!ssed at the usual rubbish (that they are rubbish)

The pundits on this thread better not take up professional gambling

Far better to be you and go for two results for the Wolves match, and now you claim you were right and others wrong!!

Snowball Maybe they will win at Coventry but it's one they could lose
and Burnley & Cardiff will be very tough

Predictions? Three draws?

And you have the nerve to criticise others for getting the result wrong?

I didn't go for any results other than to say I didn't think Wolves were going to get a lot of points.

That's what the question mark means. It's like a rhetorical question.

THIS is a statement. "I think Wolves will draw their next three games."

This is NOT a statement. Three draws?

As for right, I said I saw them having three very tough games.

Some said Burnley couldn't get a point to save their lives
and that Coventry had lost two players, wouldn't win
and were heading for relegation. They are clear statements.

I was inviting debate.

According to most of you lot I predicted all three results.

But this, you see...Maybe they will win at Coventry but it's one they could lose
and Burnley & Cardiff will be very tough... Predictions? Three draws?

See that squiggly thing after the word "predictions"? That's a question-mark

"Predictions?" written like that means "What are your predictions?"

and the next bit means, "Do you think there will be three draws?"

Some of YOU may be thick, but I doubt anyone is thick enough to begin a thread and predict that "Wolves will win or draw or lose"

unless it's postponed, of course.

And, just so you know, "Burnley and Cardiff will be tough" doesn;t mean chewy and hard to eat, doesn't mean "lots of kicking"

it means these matches will be difficult to win, Wolves could lose, and it might be a draw, ha bloody ha.

As for predictions, I HOPE Burnley beat Wolves, I would not back Wolves to win (poor bet)
but they might pinch a draw. Y'see? That isn't a prediction.
