floyd__streete It was a mild April afternoon in 1986 and I was wearing the bodywarmer my nan had knitted me for me out of my grandad's belly-button fluff. We played Derby and won 1-0, with Senior getting the winner. I don't remember much about the game, but I do remember enjoying all the colours and noise, staring up at the flood lights which weren't switched on and the smell of pipe smoke.

Colin Baillie got sent off. He lumped their right winger in front of the South Bank. I vaguely remember Gary Westwood making 2 outstanding saves.

my first game was in 1990, i was 3-4 and i remember very little about it. i seem to remember it being ipswich town but not sure thats correct. all i remember is loving the atmosphere and the singing. i insisted my dad took me when ever he was off work after that. 20 years later and im still going with my dad every game :D

first real memory would be quinn in goal (bolton at home i believe) and doing a blinding job, i think that was the game bobby 'm' got smashed to pieces if memory serves?

January 1st, 1992, a 1 nil victory over Swansea City (as a 10 year old). Best Christmas present my dad ever got me - hooked ever since.

I'd love to know the starting 11, I was in the South bank against the wall so was in awe of seeing professional footballers live... even though i knew none of them!

I just laughed thinking about the "megastore" kind of van where you could buy shirts and scarfs. They used to sell little photos of players and the only one i could get was Danny Bailey because all the others were sold out!! Oh, and they had a few Keith McPherson's too.

Either the year or the score is wrong, we didn't have a 3-4 in 1990, we had one v Stoke in 1992 though.

Do not remember much about the game itself. Do remember my parents and uncles queuing up behind the South Bank for tickets to the 3rd round tie against Sheffield Wednesday.

Every year this comes up and every year I can't remember what the game was - though I think someone once narrowed it down for me.

October 1981. At home. Gary Heale was playing.

First game was home to Donny in December 1971, aged 5. A convincing 3-1 with Dick Habbin amongst the scorers.

On a similar theme, first ever away game was at Aldershot in April 1978, a 1-1 draw. However 'away' actually meant walking 10 minutes through Manor park to get to the Rec as I had by then moved to that rather salubrious town.

Reading 1-0 Notts County sometime around 1998. Bizarre own goal early on gave us the win in what was an utterly terrible game. On the otherhand Went to the 1-3 Man city game, which i think was the same season which was awesome

Made all the more memorable by thousands of plastics leaving their seats about 30 minutes beofre the end to go and watch the England game on the concourses.

If Gary Heale hadn't been playing do you think you'd be supporting the Royals now?

Reading v Port Vale October 1963, a Wednesday night, the match was delayed till about an 8 o'clock kick-off (Should have been 7:30) due to traffic congestion after the England Centenery match at Wembley against the Rest of The World, 1-0 win for the Biscuitmen, I think Mick Travers scored the winer.

First game that I can remember was a rainy night in March 1970 against Luton.

Bloody Malcolm McDonald scored with a couple of minutes to go. We started with 10 men with Denis Butler in goal because Steve Death didn't get to the ground before the match started.

First non Reading game - Lancaster City vs some Northerrn Monkey XI in 1981.
