Bradford City Cup-tie travel plans

We'll be going with several coaches. The cost is £20.00, departing Mad Stad 6am. Departing West Street 6.15am. STAR members only obvs.

You can book or join and book at STAR Base on Mon 23rd Feb 7.30-9pm or at a subsequent home game.

I blame myself - irresponsible irony on my part. The original post on Club Policies about writing to British Rail ended with this emoticon :wink: suggesting that, actually, we weren't really going to write a letter on the lines of ....

Dear Mr Rail,

I hope you are well and not too bothered with engineering and sh*t as we would like you to run a 40 coach Inter City special to Bradford non-stop, high speed at about £10 a head. Imagine the singing, dancing and drinking of 3,000 Reading fans all the way to West Yorkshire and back - the joy you would bring to long-suffering passengers in this rail-benighted region of ours etc

Perhaps we're just not brave enough to try - but sorry again for deluding you about the possibility. I suspect they might have wanted a deposit.

Yeh I think the days of chartering your own train are over sadly.
