FAO Tim Dellor

by MartinRdg » 12 Sep 2006 11:49

Tim was talking about the Sun being a big Reading supporter this morning as there is a picture on the back page and also, when Reading had their bus procession through town, it was on the front page.

However, on that day I went to buy a copy at work (in Colnbrook) and they had a different front page. Consequently, I believe that the Sun produces regional copies with different emphasis on stories depending on the region.

Haha.

Yes that is true.

The sun produced the local version of the sun just for our reading fc parade. Consequently probably increased sales substantially, all for one different page.

Same for Sheffield United and probably Watford too.

A few of the national papers I think produce regional versions.

It's really frustrating on a Sunday!

I hate it when the large write ups are on teams such as Plymouth, Torquay, Exeter and 1 column inch on RFC. Obviously the nationals do vary from region the region.
