Brian - Martin Allen famously flew to the wrong country in error whilst on a scouting mission for Reading. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

Brynjar - When you tell people where your from do they assume you work in a frozen food store?

Brian - Do you scout players off the field to find out more about what they get up to and whether they're going to fit in.

Morning all,

In a hilarious late change to the billing, Nicky Hammond will replace Brian in tonight's starting line-up.

Your questions for Nicky, please. I'll get Tim to ask any question he can find to anyone who turns up. He's good at that.

Nicky - are the rumours about you going to Villa true?

Nicky - when did you decided to change from Nicky to Nick?

Nick - do you think yopu and Coppell have the best manager/director of football relationship in football?

Nick - how steep a learning curve was it in becoming a director of football. did you make an mistakes in the early days?

Nicky - When the Sun ran the headline "Hammond in Rocket car smash" did anyone phone your mobile to see if you were okay?

Marcus (Assuming Ollie announces that Brynjar is replaced with Hahnemann!) - Do you fancy an online game of Gears of Wars sometime?

Nicky, thanks for replacing Brian as I was struggling to come up with a question this week.

Anyway, which is your favourite Hammond?

Richard hammond, a Hammond organ or a Ham and Cheese stuffed crust pizza?

Hammond,

I'm sure that being a director of football comes with great responsibility.
I therefore find it quite remarkable that you got the job as an anagram of your name is:

SHH!, I'M A OLD CONMAN

Hammond - Handbag or bumbag?

Best ever Reading keeper - Marcus Hahnemann, Shaka Hislop, Steve Death, Simon Sheppard, Nicky Hammond or Bobby Mick-hayloft

Nicky, Player, Coach, Academy Director, Director of Football, Scout - which did you 'enjoy' the most?
Do you still think you could give Marcus a 'run for his money' between the posts?

Nicky, Explain what you believe makes a good Director of Football.

Nicky

I heard that you were a big fan of the film quadrophenia and would often head to Brighton for a ruck with some greasy rockers, although your attemps to grow a stylish goatee were somewhat hampered by the natural state of your hair, leaving an ugly and uneven growth. If this is true it would be remarkable as your name is an anagram of

MANKY MOD CHIN

cheeryoleary Brian,
I bet your wife never lets you tidy up her fanny hair as remarkably, an anagram of your name is:

BAD C*NT TRIMMER

Cheers then

Classic    cant see this one being asked but then again you never know!!

Nicky - Are you optimistic that Steve Sidwell will want to remain at the club next season?

Brynjar - As a player who can play in more than one position do you have to take part in more training sessions with the coaches than a player who only plays in one position?

Nicky - How's the accademy going? Has Premier League status helped us to attract youngsters who might otherwise have been lured away to Southampton or Palace?

Nicky - Goalkeepers are renowed for having safe hands. The board obviously wanted a safe pair of hand looking after the footballing side of things, however every goalkeeper makes a blunder now and then. Have you made any blunders as DOF? (Perhaps failing to sign someone you viewed as overpriced who then turned out to be world class??)

Brynjar - Have any of your international collegues expressed an interest in a move to the Premiership?

NICKY

Why can't Brian make it tonight, is he out scouting for prospective summer moves already?

What do you do all day long if there's no contracts to negotiate and the transfer windows closed?

How does acquiring players work at Reading? Does Steve come to you with a list of players and say "want that one" and then its down to you to do the job or does everyone sit round the table and help JM look for his wallet first?

Did you ever read the Hapless Hammond comic strip in Taking the Biscuit fanzine (or was it the Whiff)?

Has anyone ever mistaken you for Alan Ball on the phone?

What was the greatest save you made in your career and the tip top top moment you had while playing?

How have you found the differences between AP and SC as managers?

Are you still registered as a player in case of emergencies?

Red or blue bounties?

Dan Dare or Herge's Adventures of Tin-Tin?

Thanks.

Nicky who out of the new signings will we get to see in the starting 11 first?

Who out of the new signings do you rate the highest?

Do we have enough defenders now, and are there any positions we might still look to bolster in the summer?

Where will the 30million of the TV revenue go to? New signings, reduced ticket prices, new car park, paying Sidwells wages?

Who is online
