Ian Royal
roadrunner I don't ask for too much, just please give us a home shirt with hoops that go all the way around and no back panel.

If I could be a little greedy I'd love a return to white shorts and white socks.

PS. This would be fecking amazing:

Nike > Puma

To prove Dirk's point, that shirt is fricking grim and I wouldn't pick it up if you paid me £50.

It might *might* be better if the colours were reversed so the white bits were blue and the blue bits white... Obviously the blue needs to be another much brighter shade as well, but I'm assuming we all think that.

But then that would be way too blue, and the kits are too blue as it is. We're slowly fazing out the white in our kits.

This would be a perfect retro return:

Svlad Cjelli And from a marketing point of view that'd be a disaster as no females would wear it.

Any female worried about their weight (i.e. all of them) would never wear a top with thin horizontal stripes.

Hoops are a tad too thin for my liking.

Hi Gok

Would it help if I told you the round neck is too high and it needs a v-neck if it's going to be worn by women? A round neck on anyone with big boobs just makes it look like they've got a bolster across their chest.

roadrunner Are you able to buy that hooped france shirt but without france on it? i.e. plain?

I may even buy it with it on if need be. I like that shirt!

Yep, Primark have something similar.

Don't like the blue. Frances's is epic retro, although slightly thicker hoops would be better.

Still don't like it. Too many hoops, doesn't look like a football shirt, just a normal t-shirt.

4/5 blue hoops is the right number IMO.

Svlad Cjelli I doubt that, tbh. There's never ever a consensus on anything - and theless importnat things, like shirts, music etc are the worst of all.

Unless that consensus is rooted in history. Celtic would never move away from the same fundamental design of thin hoops. And Arsenal fans went nuts a few years ago when the club slightly altered the arms from all white sleeves to half red, half white.

We have no consistent history of shirt design, hence no consensus.

How about a white shirt with a blue spiral on it giving the effect of hoops?

It might make opposition players go dizzy?

and while we're at it - let's put the keeper in high-vis yellow and hope the glare puts off opposition strikers...

Tactical tailoring.

Been working for an austrian company for a little while now. Local side play in the Austria Bundesliga.

Always liked their kit. Alot like newcastles template. A few thin white hoops incorperated would work laavly in my opinion.

Not so retro - but what do I care
