Have we got a kit supplier for next year yet? Think Macron's contract runs out this season. Hopefully they renew it, really liked their kits.

Being from the Royal county of Berkshire we can choose whether or not we or the opposition have to play in skins.

Odd that the club have no shirts to sell when presumably they could do with some revenue?

It’s as if the club still owe the manufacturers the monies from the first batches, so they are refusing to make any more.

It’s obviously Liam Moore’s fault.

Is that the case? Where did you hear about that?

More likely that the manufacturers will only make a minimum number of shirts at one time, and the club doesn't have the confidence that they'll sell them all.

Dai told me it’s Moore’s fault

Just a feeling that there may be more below the surface that keeps getting alluded to repeatedly in interviews, etc.

They’ve got the patterns, etc. A smaller run would be possible.

Also there’s no demand next year, so they may as well make some more

They don't work like that. They absolutely insist on minimum production runs. A smaller run might be "possible" - the manufacturers just won't do it as they don't think it's cost effective for them. There's limited manufacturing capacity and plenty of other clubs around the world using the same machines etc, so they don't setup a production run unless it meets their specific criteria.

The strange thing is you can buy the away shirt if not in the uk direct from the Macron website https://www.macron.com/uk/reading-fc-ad ... 21-22.html also have the home shirt in small sizes - Can Macron not just re-route some of their stock?

Probably something in the contract between the club and Macron that says we have exclusive rights to sell in UK, otherwise you'd be risking people just going straight to Macron and giving them the money, rather than the club.

Isn’t the deal with Macron coming to an end this summer? Any ideas who the new supplier is going to be?
