Would love to go but I'm OUT!

Working, and can't afford this match. Saving up for Newcastle away in January (knowing my luck it will be snowed off!)

Only 1753 tickets?

This, along with reasonably generous pricing, means we should sell out within the first week.

Hoping this gets to the member card holders sale period, but not sure that will happen with a small allocation and being a 'local' game!

small allocation considering its a 'local' game, we will still probably give them 3000 in the return fixture

but definitely IN!

Away end is about 2700. South Stand is half home fans always in the Prem.

Less than that. The whole south stand is only about 4000 or so

4300 apparently, with 2100 away.

thought it was a bit more than that personally, saints is 3,100 for away supporters
"Away fans are located in the Northam Stand at one end of the stadium, where normally up to 3,100 fans can sit."

don't understand why we have so little as we had 3,100 last season, but never mind it don't effect me personally and gets rid of some day trippers

Shame RFC didn't take the full allocation as i reckon it's one which we would actually fill.

Not on a Friday night and not on Sky would surely mean we would take as many as last time.

Same reason that we let the likes of Cardiff have the whole South Stand last season - they could sell it all and we couldn't.

Not sure Saints have been selling out their home "ends" in recent weeks TBH.

IN! Provided it makes it to the fourth day of sale anyway.
Won't be as easy as last season when I lived 10 mins walk from the ground - get to do it as a proper away trip this season.

Can't imagine they'd want to give Reading any extra backing for what will be a '6-pointer'. Rather have a few hundred extra empty seats than 1,300 extra Reading fans making noise... or the Reading equivalent of noise.

Serious question: If you had the choice between going to Southampton on Dec 8th or Man City on Dec 22nd, with your ticket and travel completely free, which one would you go to?

Man City.

Southampton likely to be a trippers' day out.
