FAO FDTW, you recommend parking along Canal Road, do you mean off one of the sideroads or actually on the road? As far as I can tell it looks like a dual carriageway.

There is a section of Canal Rd that is dual carriageway but if you drive along past Tesco and PC World on your left it goes to single carriageway outside an Audi dealership and has no yellow lines. People park along the next half mile every home game

If you're planning on parking in the local streets try to get there early, the roads were rammed prior to the Sunderland game.
