Kitsondinho My eldest is still at Infants school. He comes to some away games with me. In the last few years he has been to Huddersfield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Derby. At all those games haven't been that full and we've been able to sit where he can see and not really (clearly) hear the 'tactical analysis' of other fans...I'm not taking him to Fulham for the above reasons. It won't worry me if I have to stand all game. I do get annoyed with the idea that it is impossible to shout, chant or have fun sitting at the football. It isn't and sitting doesn't have to ruin the atmosphere....however, I know that mentioning this at away games such as Fulham would not be helpful to my enjoyment of the game.

I think that's a very sensible approach.

Out of interest, Can your boy stand on the seat? I've seen kids do that before. I don't have kids so maybe it's not something a younger child could do for that long.

Our allocation is 2,777.

Shame I can't trade my Row E ticket in for something higher up

Matey boy at the ticket office said it's best to go and look at the seating plan. When I said about being with the 'stood up' crew, he went a bit quiet. As if to say, in silent tones, 'not sure about that guv'. Still, my location says, 'we'll see, eh' 8)

Any idea how many we've sold? Expect decent sales what with the run we're on...

North Somerset Royal
WAZZOCK
North Somerset Royal We are fortunate that RFC do not charge a booking fee or for delivery of away tickets. However people complaining about the Fulham pricing seemed to be under the impression that all away fans visiting the Mad Stad are only paying £20 which is not the case. After add ons my BCFC friend is paying the same as we are for Fulham.

That's more of a reflection of BCFC though isn't it?

A massive tick in the RFC box is that we never charge a booking fee or postage.

Yes I agree entirely. My point was really that the £25 being charged by Fulham is not out of line with what a lot of supporters of other clubs will in fact pay to visit the the Mad Stad. At the end of the day people are only interested in what they land up paying and as far as my BCFC friend is concerned he paid £25 and he was not aware of the twenties plenty scheme.

Ah, I getcha.

I've being very impressed with RFC seizing the initiative with this, it's a shame to see t go to waste.

Gonna assume we'll easily sell out this allocation now.

Few extra in the neutral bit as well.

Looking forward to a good day!

First visit to Craven Cottage. What's the preferred travel route from Reading? Assume train to Paddington rather than Waterloo

Ha ha. Bit early for that mate. Just enjoy the away days in Landen. Particularly when we take a decent following. Went last year and thought that, vocally, we were superb. Even if it was the game that seemed to shape the rest of our season.

I'm going from
Bracknell -> Staines
Staines -> Putney

Takes 1 hour and costs £13 return. Bargain!

Mildly cheaper option for those going from Reading, avoiding the tube:

Reading to Twickenham
Twickenham to Putney.

£17.30, takes 1hr 24 minutes.
