Quite a different experience to pre-Xmas!

Thoroughly enjoyed that. And some new songs to learn. Nice to see so many players interacting with us too.

I could even grow to like Gunter! :D

Snowflake Royal
Nameless No need to relocate anyone.
The aim must be to get everyone feeling part of club1871. No reason it needs to be restricted to half of one stand isn’t there ?
Either end of the East could be 1871 outposts.
Lots of possibilities....

oxf*rd it then. Call the entire stadium Club 1871 and lets just get straight to 15,000 members.

Simple.

Well done, you’ve kind of understood.
Why would you want to limit it to a couple of thousand when having the whole stadium rocking would be so much better.
Club1871 is a means to an end, not a thing in it’s own right

You're taking this way too seriously, but should probably bear in mind not everyone wants to support in the same way.

One word....quality.

Fair play to you folks. It works...and you deserve it. Respect.

Absolutely. My son & I moved our STs to the Y’s just because the ED North stand we just couldn’t contribute to. I can’t knit, and have no idea who makes the best dishwasher. Oh, is there a game on?

It’sall directionally proportional to the players performances...no doubt about it

The stadium was electric back in the 2005 to 2008 period

What did they use to power the stadium from 1997-2005, and 2008-2019?

Yep really good to see this growing and there was clear inter-action between the players and supporters.
Just to add the ED Stand did our bit too.

Great job done by everyone involved in setting Club 1871 up - the atmosphere was dire until this!

I think it's worse than ever. It's never going to work. Reading will always just have a shit atmosphere. Bunch of self important twats. Waste of seats when no ones even joining in. Think of the revenue we're wasting. The atmospheres still awful. Fold the club. /S

You won’t catch many fish with a little maggot like that ...

Thankfully Nigel Howe is delighted with C1871’s progress.

It was dire until we started winning football matches.

Not really. It was a good atmosphere yesterday but we've had to rely on results to generate any sort of atmosphere and they'll all disappear again when the going gets tough

Disagree. The turning point was the Wigan game when they did the free beer incentive and everyone had a taster of what it's like. Don't get me wrong, it did help we won that day.

The guys who set this up sing all game, even when there was 150 of them. Now they're getting the recognition they deserve and are 800 strong. If Reading start losing again, they will still be there chanting all game and more fans will learn from that ethos over time. I've been in there all season with them and I will sing with them until my voice can take no more. Well done lads for setting this up, it is growing and the players and management are loving it!

Would love to see it sold out.
