NathStPaul Steve Clarke is the best example. More or less kissing Gilmour at the end of the game with a lingering hug. He doesn't have to isolate. What about all the players in a hot and sweaty changing room with him? Laughable from both PHE and the FA who are seemingly not putting up a fight against it.

Don’t you see it for the complete and utter joke it all is, these guys will have zero symptoms and are tested twice a week yet some plank decides that you can’t play so and so because they were with player x for n minutes while the whole of the rest of the Scotland squad are given the all clear.

Would they have done same if it was a must win game?

It’s a farce as is the situation with Wales fans not allowed to travel but Danish one’s are.

Again as mentioned earlier - this is just based on comments from the Danish Government - the Dutch need to confirm people can travel from Denmark and if so they apparently only have a 12 hour window to get in and out of the country.

And anyway, Welsh fans aren't banned totally, the Netherlands are not allowing in non-EU residents, any Welsh currently living in another country that isn't on the Dutch risk list.

Actually I've just read the Dutch entry rules that the Danish Government are suggesting people use is specifically for transit through NL. You need to fill out a form and have it with you at all times, you cannot fly in and leave the airport - you must arrive in your own vehicle and if stay longer than the permitted 12 hours, you risk being fined. There is €95 just for not having a completed form.

There does not actually appear to be any ban on Welsh fans using this loophole if they wish (you absolutely may only arrive by plane to NL if you are connecting planes) - only logistics stops it being possible from the UK as nowhere near enough to NL is letting you in in a way that lets you get in and out of NL legally.

It’s being reported as per your previous email that Danish fans can travel to Amsterdam but only stay in the country for 12 hours which your previous message referenced whereas Wales fans cannot go full stop. Dutch Police have said they will simply not be allowed into the country. That’s how it is being reported here. So yep it will be difficult for Danish fans to get in and out but not impossible. They will have some support in Amsterdam.

I rate Saka - glad he’s starting

Surprised Sterling and Phillips have kept their place, even if they did play well against Croatia

Really can't see why Southgate has fallen out of love with Sancho. Something like 110 goal contributions in 130 games for Dortmund. Very classy player.

URZZZZ Would like to see a few changes tonight in the midfield/attack area, something like:

Pickford

James
Stones
Mings
Shaw

Rice
Bellingham
Grealish

Sancho
Kane
Foden

Would also look to get Henderson and Maguire on for a bit of match fitness, obviously depending on situations within the game

Foden seems to work better on the left and is where he’s played so well for City this season so would look to give him a go there as it hasn’t quite happened for him yet on the right. However, can see Rashford starting tonight over Sancho/Foden and possibly even Sterling again

I don’t get what Rice offers. Agree about Sancho and Grealish starting. Southgate has to be bolder. England need to win tonight. Finishing second in the group is likely to offer up a tougher route from the last eight and loss of playing at Wembley.

Nah Rice does a good job can see him going to Chelsea (he's what Utd need)

3 goals in 19 games for England - couldn’t find the assists but don’t think it’s too high - not exactly great

More to do with the manager than the player. Southgate stifles Sancho.

I don’t disagree but given Southgate’s cautious demeanour, the plethora of attacking options we have, and Sancho’s generally poor performances in an England shirt, I must admit it isn’t surprising he isn’t being given much of a chance

Think he could excel in the right set up and wouldn’t be against him being given a chance given his club form but I don’t always think player being good at club level translates into good at international level, sometimes it just doesn’t happen

Heard a "leaked" team on Talk Shite just now (they were however spot on with their leak re Trippier playing LB in first game) saying Saka has been picked to play on the right over Sancho so Gareth really doesn't want to pick him does he?

Yeah. It's all well and good being great at your club, but if you don't perform for your country you aren't going to get picked. And he hasn't been great for his country.

Read something the other day about how in Germany its been a bit of a side story how Sancho isn't being picked, and basically they find it somewhat gobsmacking.

If the Wales fans travel to a country in the EU, then go into NL that way, that should be ok then? Those travelling overland from Rome should be fine.

It appears that the rules only apply if travelling into NL from outside the EU. (No-one seems to have remarked how that prevents the virus from getting into NL of course - unless the borders of the EU have some special anti-Coronavirus properties??)

Yes they could travel somewhere else first and look to head in but it would be a massive pain. Of the nearest countries to NL only France are letting fully vaccinated Brits in. France is also not on the safe list so they would need to get from say Paris to Amsterdam, watch a game and get out of NL in 12 hours.

You could fly to Luxembourg and head up from there but again bit of a trek but Lux is green.

NL has the right to control it's borders as it wishes hence why there are currently restrictions on half of the EU entering unless they quarantine. Wales just have the added difficulty of being outside the EU meaning there is an overall restriction that is implemented unless the individual country decides to override it. Nice bit if control there.

I'm sure you have the same concerns for Italian & Austrian fans who have no way to get to the game at Wembley or indeed the Czech or Croatian fans who can't be in the UK without having done 5 or 10 days quarantine first.

Wales will have fans there on Saturday, Denmark may just have more.

I suspect a few neutrals may turn up and watch what should be a good game.
