WC 2014 - Match 4 - Chile vs Australia

by From Despair To Where? » 13 Jun 2014 14:37

By all accounts, Chile are a bit gung ho and quite entertaining to watch. I know very little about Australia this time round and I fear for any country that picks a Swindon player in their squad.

Can't see past a Chile win and if they score early, it could be a massacre.

3-0 Chile

2-1 or 3-1 chile for me. Australia will somehow force a goal. I hope Sanchez gets a goal.

I did a little bit of research prior to the WC and my conclusion were that Australia were absolute pony, and I would back against them at any opportunity.
Sadly, the other side I wanted to back against at any opportunity because I felt the bookies would overrate them was Chile.

Why isn't super bench warming Adam "played-4-games-conceded-9-goals" Federici playing?

2 - 1. Good goal there from Cahill.

Another good chance wasted straight afterwards.

The Aussies are coming back into this.

As an aside: How would you feel if, after spending a large amount of money on a ticket to see a game, you ended up sat next to the prat with the enormous inflatable kangaroo?

Jesus!

Half time stats suggest Chile have had 68% of the possession. It hasn't seemed THAT one-sided!!

Another decent game, liking the fact that there's a niggly element that means I'm half expecting it to erupt into a 22 man brawl at some point.
