I've not had a problem with Pearce before, but he's showing himself to be a total cretin. It was clearly a goal. It was clear what happened, there was nothing dodgy, no controversy.

Really, he's always seemed pretty good before. How can you see it and not accept it was goal?

Having watched Honduras play England last week, their "robust" approach came as no surprise. The sooner they leave the competition, the better frankly.

As for France, it's difficult to know how good they really are after that, though I suspect that they are pretty good.

Stupid question, but as the ball was dropped into the goal by the keeper, doesn't that count as an own goal?
