I’ll bet you £50 England beat Colombia. There’s an online app that’ll hold the money for us if you’re up for it.

I could never bet against my nation or club, morally wrong. Just think they will lose, I don't want them to lose. If I had £50 on it I'd be wanting England to lose the game which for me is wrong.

You'd want England to lose for £50? Even if I stood to win £500 if they lost, I'd still want England to win, but would be a nice cushion if they didn't.

Who goes into a bet that they want to lose? What would be the point in that?

Whether I wanted them to win or not is irrelevant, I'd be profiting by England's failure which is why I didn't take it.

Kind of the point of a Judas bet though. Win win. Understand why people like yourself aren't keen on doing it, but it does the soften the blow if the worst case happens. I don't look at it as profiting from Reading/England losing, it's just something to cheer me up a bit if they do.

Can you imagine the over the top hounding and slagging England will get from the fans and media if they fail to beat Colombia.

But surely if they're '100%' going to lose then it's not a bet is it? It's just the most profitable 90 min investment you could ever make.

But I wouldn't want to be the one profitting from my nations failure which is why I offered the charity bet.

As i said, you can do what you want with my money, not that you’d profit because England will win. So you’d just be paying £20 as a way of apologising for doubting this team of heroes.

Or if you can't find that on iPlayer simply refer to some of the reactions after Thursday's game

Kyle Walker's post-game tweet becoming a meme. Walker is photographed lying on the floor as England players celebrate, having fallen over, or suffering from cramp.

Dad, can you show me that photo of you guys running after reaching the quarter final?

I think Russian visas are quite expensive and time consuming to get. You need to submit finger prints and everything

Think I read you can bypass this requirement if you have a ticket
But then you probably have to be an England Travel Club member to get one.

Yeh a ticket counts as a visa, but the tickets have all been sold surely?

There is an interesting story of someone trying to use someone elses ticket to get in the ground. It doesnt end too great.

A lad I work with is going for the final if we make it. Says he will just hang around pubs near the ground and soak up the atmosphere
