The second Czech goal was almost Readingesque from a Reading defence point of view).

As this isn't an England comment, it can go here. Czechs were full of digs and niggles weren't they? Some top, top shithousery going on.

Danny Rose doing his usual gymnastics.
What a weak back 5:-
Pickford over-rated
Tripper not wanted by Spurs
Rose not wanted by Spurs
Maguire slow and unaware (not noticed so much as he is good at bringing the ball out and is dangerous in the opposition box)
Keane has gone backwards since joining Everton.

Lewis Dunk>Keane, Stones, Maguire
Trent/Chilwell>Trippier, Walker,Rose
Heaton>Pickford

Ireland are an appalling team. It will be no loss if they fail to qualify.

Got no time for them, they kicked us off the pitch in that world cup play off. They were just a bunch of thugs running around the pitch kicking players.

It was a typical Mick McCarthy game though. He'll more than likely pick up scrappy away points but you have to question at what cost do you scrap entertainment for it?

O’Neill was even worse. Football that belongs in the dark ages.

This game sums up modern football. Wales have stood off Croatia and let them pass around their defence for the first 40 minutes. Then from no-where, they start high pressing, getting the ball to big Moore's head, playing off him etc, and they've now scored

Why do teams try fancy tactics all the time? Football is such a simple game. Get the ball forward and hassle the Croatia defence. It's your best chance of winning

Not just Bale, but Ramsay and Brooks as well. It hurts us so much in these big games. They are the biggest talents we have.
There is a lot of excellent young talent coming through for us but we need those big players for that moment of magic in the big games.
We would have gone to the World Cup in Russia if all our players had been fit in the playoff games.
This whole campaign for Euro 2020 has been ropey with injuries. I fear we may fall short in last two games that we should win.

Ukraine, Poland and Russia join Belgium and Italy in qualifying.

Keep an eye out for the clusterfuck that the draw will be - host teams automatically go into certain groups, Ukraine and Russia, for example, are not allowed to be drawn together in the Group stage, plus they want to keep some sort of seeding, and then there's the play offs.

Which are going to see one of Georgia, North Macedonia, Kosovo or Belarus qualify (well, unless Kosovo upset the form book a bit and topple the Czech republic, in which case, err, Luxembourg).

Prayers with LUX in this difficult time.

Yeah, was trying to understand this. So Wembley and Hampden have been paired and allocated to Group D, so that means that if both England and Scotland qualify, they will be in a group together?

Yes.

But they will also be seeded.

But they won't even know four of the countries involved before the draw.

I KNOW.
