Possibly one more week

Norwich (A)
Brighton (H)
West Ham (A)

Could save him. Although it'd probably just be delaying the inevitable even if he did get a good points haul from them

Wouldn't be surprised if Norwich done them to be honest, they have had a bit of an upturn in form.

David Ornstein (usually pretty reliable on all things Arsenal) predicts that Emery will go today.

Nuno Espirito Santo was heavily rumoured to be in line to take over earlier this week, and didn't exactly deny it in his press conference. So I think he'll probably take over.

I wonder if they will get Jorge Mendes as part of the deal

Would be a poor appointment that shows a lack of ambition. The job he has done with Wolves isn't that remarkable when you consider their resources and access to players through Jorge Mendes.

tbf anyone going into Wolves and turning it into what seems to be a stable club at the moment is doing a really good job.

Eh????? Why? He is nowhere near the level to manage a huge club like that, he would get eaten alive. Arsenal need a proven winner, someone who can come in and transform the club. They need a big personality and a big ego.

Martin Lipton was saying on talkSport yesterday that the Midlands based journos can't stand Santo. More mood swings than 'the Special One'.

Would do a cracking job there in all seriousness. He is the sort of manager who can manage at ANY level. Thats the class of the man.

Doesn't matter who they get, the self publicising waste men on Arsenal fan TV will be screaming for his head after his first game in charge

So Eddie Howe who's done a decent job in the Premier League definitely isn't up to it but Ainsworth who, apart from a few games as caretaker at QPR, hasn't managed above League 1 definitely is?
