Pepe the Horseman Ryan Lowe set to leave Plymouth for Preston. Didn't even know that *checks Google* Frankie McAvoy had been sacked.

Seems a silly move on paper. Plymouth on their way up, Preston on their way down with a weak squad. He is a northerner so Geography might have come into play.

He was the one that got Bury up, saw what was coming so quit to go back to L2 with Plymouth but took 3 or 4 of Bury's best players with him then got them up first go.

Seems like he has something about him management wise. Real shame to see him leaving Plymouth (a genuine big club in the making imo), and for it to be to Preston?!

Presume family ties were the main reason as Plymouth are starting to look useful again. To replace him, Plymouth have made a logical move and appointed Ryan’s assistant, Steven Schumacher. Plymouth fans seem happy with this appointment.

Schumacher will be the man to put Plymouth in pole position in League 1.

Plymouth imploding slightly of late but Lowe is from Liverpool and the move to Plymouth is the only time he has played or managed outside the North West, so would suggest this was too good an opportunity to turn down.

Ranieri already in trouble at Watford, 6 points from 9 games

Reckon he’s a goner if they lose to Burnley midweek

Probably but they just aren't good enough and constantly changing manager won't change that.

That sounds spookily familiar

Ipswich name Man United coach Kieran McKenna as new manager, young appointment at the age of just 35

Interesting appointment, will probably need to be given a bit of time and patience which I’m guessing he’d be allowed given the overall appointment

Thought Cook would do a bit better than he managed, seemed to attempt to revamp the squad but ended up with a load of washed out Champ players who have little interest in being there

Your sources are wrong. Mine say it will be Sunday.

You know nothing about football.

As predicted , my sources are right.

It was never going to work really. Great manager and didn't deserve the shit he got.

If ever there was a bad appointment it was Benitez at Everton, not least because of his tenure at Anfield and not letting him have funds of note to buy players pre-season seemed a bit daft at the time.

Likewise Eddie Howe at Newcastle-10 games now and one win and that against what is now the bottom club.
When a new manager is appointed there is often the new manager bounce where the very same players , at least initially, do better-see Cooper at Forest and Wilder at Middlesboro but Newcastle are still really bad.

So far that hasn't happened at Newcastle and their next game v Leeds is massive on a weekend when points will be gained by Watford and Norwich or even both (they play each other) and on Tuesday a similar scenario when Burnley play Watford.
