Hendo  Excellent appointment by Palace. Nuno must've been given assurances that players will either be re-signing or there will be significant budget to get new players in.

Club with many open playing spots for Mendes to fill you say?!

seems like a decent appointment tbf

heads up - in Italy the phrase they use for 'managerial merry-go-round' is 'the waltz of the benches'

I prefer ours. It must be weird to understand when an Italian learns what we call it. one of them phrases that is hard to pick logic out of

RG30 Nuno to Palace

Bit of a coup for Palace, surprised Nuno would go there given the situation they are in with their squad.

Not happening anymore according to reports, last minute twist

He has realised that he will actually have to manage Crystal Palace.

Not going to persuade the likes of Eze (although injured) and Zaha to stay with that appointment if it happens

Link up of the Ayew brothers again?

Jeez, what an underwhelming appointment for Palace.

They do seem to fare better with defensively minded coaches but you’d think at some stage they’d want to take the next step as they seem to languish in 12th-14th each season

Winston Biscuit Spurs in talks with Paulo Fonseca

Fcuk me that is a massive downgrade from Conte. Spurs being Spurs yet again.

Sutekh Expected: David Wagner to WBA

Not happening, he seemingly prefers Young Boys.

Alex Neil now favourite for the WBA job.

Rumours being the Spurs squad voiced concerns over Conte as they thought he was too “intense”. Not sure the reliability of such rumours but then again, this is a squad of serial failures

Is that Daniel Levy code for "too expensive"? Spurs will always be Spurs, they are a nearly club with very little or no serious ambition to be the elite club in English football. All Levy wants is to get 4th place and spend as little money as possible doing it. It is a shame because I think they could be a title winning club in the right hands but sadly Levy has his death grip on them.

Possibly

Obviously Levy is a huge problem for Spurs - but he's far from the only one. Whole culture there seems unhealthy. Perhaps this new DOF may be a turning point?

That's an odd one for me. Unless Fulham were looking to get rid anyway.
